Wellington Square Playground — Attraction in East Perth

Really cool, "instaworthy" playground, the type of place where you would take guests from out of town if they have kids. Lots of different play areas for different age groups. While it looked cool, it didn't look safe. They have these huge stone blocks that are supposed to represent "the rough landscape of WA" but that just scream serious injury if a kid slipped and hit his head there. Must be one of Perth's best playgrounds. All ages are covered off. Lots of climbing, sliding and flying fox. Wall climbs, granite skate Park with small grind rails and reasonable sun cover. Public toilets on site as well as a water play Park that allows for dam building as well as spray and splash. There is a basketball court and a dog running...

Looks nice, but unfortunately not very kids friendly as there’s no shade, slides are metal and impossible to use on a warm day, lots of stone blocks and sharp edges all over, even big stone blocks on the water playground where it’s so easy to slip over and hit it.
