The booking staff are wonderful, helpful and friendly. I hold an ACROD pass and was given a parking space at the front. All was going well, I should have phoned them first, as I expected the restaurants would be open! My husband and I arrived at 6.00pm in my wheelchair, we tried in vain to find an entrance open, anyway, a very nice lady opened a door for us and asked us to come inside and relax before the doors officially opened. Then we found that the only place to get food was at the Grab and Go area. The food was not very hot, the Lamb Rogan Josh was tasty but the Arancini balls were a "rip off" at $11 for 3 - yes 3, not very tasty balls and a blob of Aioli. It probably was our fault for not enquiring, but I think it would have been nice to have the closure of restaurants highlighted on a banner at the top of the bookings or information page. Having said that the show was fabulous, and we really enjoyed the experience. A little PS, could an official stand by to check the usage of the lift, as there's only one lift catering for wheelchair and/or disabled people it really is not enough when people with no mobility...

From the inside it is a lovely auditorium and I am told it has some of the best Acoustics have any concert hall in Australia. There are also cafes and restaurants.
Parking is available under the building operation from the river side along Terrace Road however our van is too high to fit in so this is only suitable for smaller vehicles.
There is plenty of parking available on the other side of Terrace Road
If you approach the building from St Georges Terrace it is a bit strange in that this level is the first floor of the building and often the doors are locked unless there's a concert on. So you may have to go around the right-hand side of the building down to the lower level where the main entry and booking desk is.
I used to exhibit my painting this here but it is not a very good venue for...
