The E-Shed Markets, on Freo's Harbour, has interesting but somewhat limited stalls with food, clothing, souvenirs, gifts, crafts and artifacts on sale and also a number of eateries for breakfast, brunch or lunch, or if you prefer just a cold drink or coffee while listening to live entertainment, when it's on. Overall the place looks a bit untidy, unclean and in need of some maintenance, perhaps better still, a good make-over. I'd have to say, the E-Shed Market is somewhat of a disappointment. The Fremantle Market on Market Street is by far a better choice.

I wasn't impressed by the offerings here. It reminded me of a large version of The Reject Shop. They have a lot of stores selling horrible Australiana trash, i.e. t-shirts, beer coolers, socks and hats with flags and brightly coloured kangaroos on them. Within the precinct there are a few antique stores and eating establishments. They aren't of high quite though. The food is like bad fish and chip shop grub and the antique store merchandise seems to be constituted items that were unsold at a local garage sale. I didn't love it.

SeogaGimbap located at E Shed market in Fremantle, serves delicious and authentic Korean food. The husband and wife team offer a wide variety of food including fried dumplings, chicken wings, noodles and pancake. On a winter's day, their special beef rib soup served with rice and kimchi is heart and soul warming. Please note that the stall only opens until lunchtime on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays.
