I cannot recommend this tour highly enough for both visitors and locals alike! I'm a Perth local who was wanting to do something a bit different, and this tour with Michael was such a fun way to spend the day. Michael tells you the incredible history of Fremantle, what it's like to live their today and where it's heading into the future - all while looking at beautiful historical buildings and soaking up the beautiful views of the port and the ocean (and getting some retail and hospitality recommendations along the way!). He was so friendly, and it was more like spending the day with friends rather than listening to a tour guide. Also, don't let the bike tour put you off if you're not fit - you cycle on easy bikes at such a relaxed and enjoyable pace, on flat roads, with lots of breaks to look around - it really is the best way to see the city.

I have told everyone who will listen about this tour - give this a try if you're on holiday or if you're looking for a fun afternoon or date idea. You won't be...

I've been on the walking and drinking tours with fremantle tours and they have been amazing! I have had lucy and michael as guides and they both bring such a wealth of knowledge and an excitable vibe, they are so passionate about fremantle. The walking tour was great and covers so much in the 2 hour period, it's great to hear information new and old about the town and the married team bring a great personal history to their tours. The drinking tour was such a great evening and a really good value for money. We had drinks and snacks at four trendy, interesting venues. Really nice getting to know some different areas in freo and seeing how the hospitality scene is growing. I've really enjoyed my tours with this company and would highly recommend them for anyone look to learn about what fremantle has to...

Best intro experience of Freo starts right here! Our tour guide Michael, who was highly passionate and knowledgeable about Freo, gave us a wonderful intro to the town. His warmth, hospitality, enthusiasm basically sweeps you onto a magic carpet ride around the historic place. My son and I, who are tourists from Singapore, learnt so much about not only the place, but also about the unique and meaning-laden work of artists in the area. Very educational. Michael exudes values such as respect for the land's ancestry, appreciation for the environment, and passion for the significance behind the various art works. The Freo government should hire Michael to do educational tours for school children and tourists - he's a first-class ambassador and teacher. Very highly...

Michael was a fantastic tour guide with a warm and friendly nature. He is incredibly knowledgable and passionate about Fremantle. He showed us around Freo explaining it's interesting quirks and history. Michael gave some great recommendations for places to eat and drink, whilst taking us to some hidden street art. The tour was run at a fun and leisurely pace, we came with our toddler and Michael was more than accomodating. It's a great value tour for both tourists and locals alike. I've lived just 10 minutes from Freo my entire life, yet I still learnt a lot and thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon. Thanks again to Michael for taking us 'off the beaten track' and providing an eye-opening experience.

It's easy to be enthusiastic about Freo - the history, the food and brewery scene, the architecture, the street art, the weather, the people - but, hands down, Fremantle Tours should be top of the list. The Walking Tour with Michael was way beyond expectation, one of the most comprehensive introductions to any city I have visited around the world. It was fun, it was culturally sensitive and insightful, it has structured the rest of my time in Fremantle with more depth and understanding of this town's place in history and its future. Besides which, the coffee was amazing and the bar recommendations spot on. Tremendous value. Sign up.
