Eastern Beach Reserve — Attraction in Geelong

🌳 Fantastic Family Park & Coastal Pool Opening Soon!

Visited this lovely park in Geelong today during our holiday, and it was a great time despite the chill. The well‑equipped play area kept the kids entertained, with plenty of open grass, picnic and BBQ facilities, and clean amenities. The views of Corio Bay were simply stunning—perfect backdrop for family photos and sandy play.

We were delighted to learn that the children’s sea pool at Eastern Beach—just by the park—is set to reopen from 1 November through to April. The shallow wading area, with its diving tower, springboards and fountains, is patrolled by lifeguards during the summer season . That gives us another seaside treat later this year!

I found these blonde young women here to be racist and rude. We ordered 2 coffees with 2 sugars and she pretended she didn't hear us. Upon receiving our coffees we sipped and they were very bitter. She looked like she had been smoking drugs. She said to my partner "I'm sorry I couldn't understand you, even though she was quite clear and I even emphasized that I wanted two sugars. We also ordered twisted potatoes which was dumped into saturated fats. Observe the pictures. They were gross. We had to give them to the seagulls. Quick tip you Kady, if you don't like to smile and be courteous, then don't try to work in customer service as it puts me off coming to Geelong or taking anyone else there or recommending it as a good tourist spot. As a former Portarlington resident now living in Melbourne I'm quite saddened by the decay in class and manners in my old City. The ferris wheel is good, friendly staff and operator, the ride was longer than expected. Not too hot inside the ride despite sunny weather. Good views from above. Lots of grassed areas for picnic. Gets extremely busy on hot days, parking can be an issue. Walk down to the beach and you'll find a large wading pool and further on a larger enclosed beach area with a high diving board. A Giant Sky Wheel is great for kids and adults Beach fountain is stunning and elegant. Beautiful landscape and enjoyed evening with family. it has a very nice view.
