Lakes Entrance Visitor Information Centre — Attraction in Gippsland

Thank you to the ladies that helped us, we had a great time. We are now planning a trip to this area, instead of stopping as we pass through on our way to somewhere else.

There is parking metres from the door Coach and caravan parking is available in a spacious drive through area just across the road and adjacent to a lovely park with shade and BBQ facilities.

The friendly volunteers assisted us with information on so many activities in the region plus information on many other towns we were curious about visiting or might like to see on our travels. We got a lot of very useful information to help us.

The visitor information centre has all the usual maps, information about local events and tourist attractions.

Just phoned this tourist office as I am going to Lakes Entrance for the weekend. I wanted to know if they had any more details on possible weather warnings for the area.The woman said she does not have a crystal ball and was extremely rude. I am fully aware she does not have a crystal ball-I was simply looking for advise on possible safer roads to take and activities to do whilst down there. Manners...

The guy working the day we went was super helpful, great customer skills... The woman spent more than 15minutes talking on the phone on a private call that should have been taken somewhere else...no one needs to know all about how is doing who and married to someone else....
