Scallop Pot Bistro — Restaurant in Victoria

Myself and partner had lunch there recently as we have on many occasions. The Chinese food used to be absolutely fantastic but the last 3 times we have been there we have been very disappointed with the meal the preparation of the vegetables in my beaf and black bean was terrible firstly the vegetables weren't diced small enough and they were totally uncooked. The fried rice was not very good it totally lacked ingredients flavour my partner is not Chinese but she can do a far better fried Rice. I don't know if there has been a change of chefs but I sincerely hope they improve there cooking as it is a very nice place to go and the staff are always very friendly and efficient....

In my opinion, this restaurant served the most delicious steak I’ve ever tried in Victoria. At first I was taken aback by the portion size and even doubted I could finish it. Large portion sizes, very odd mix of Chinese food and standard Bistro food on the menu. Deep fried dishes need some work. Seafood is fresh but in the words of Gordon ramsay, it's just bland.
