BLOODY GOOD COFFEE — Restaurant in Victoria

I can see what they are trying to achieve here and I went in really keen to love the place but I left wanting as it was at the quality of an average cafe. I'm always happy to pay more for quality, but this place is definitely over priced considering their dishes.

Coffees we're relatively quick, good? It was ok, not good!

45 minutes for food to arrive, first in line at the counter but 10 minutes to take the order! I'd say it was just over half full, they tell me after I complain they're a staff short.

Reuben... Did you pour the saurkraut juice in? You're mean to fork it out. And did you realize it was supposed to have corned beef? I think I found one slice in there somewhere... Good pickles. Edit: saw photos below, mine didn't look anywhere as good!

Hollandaise, please don't charge $17 if you're using packet stuff. The rest are $12 in that quality.

Felt scammed on the 7th September - unless the menu is deceiving and requires an update. A toast advertised with 4 standard fillings is advertised for $10.5 x 3 people. The staff asked for $15+ x 3 people approximately on father day. When trying to discuss they advised that any filling including the standard ones are extras. This is not what is in the menu. And i ordered the same 5 days ago and was charged $10 per toast 5 days ago. I can expect a 10-20% surcharge on father day, but not 50%.

I have been to bloody good coffee for a couple of years- and i felt it was great food, nice people and staff.

But, something is not right there. Recommend to change the menu to clearly and explain how you charge your customers - unless, i was scammed on this day. i do not think i will come back unfortunately.

This is literally the best place to get a coffee anywhere in Victoria, and it's here in little old Lakes Entrance. The perfect blend of strength and smoothness in a single cup.

Breakfast is on point as well, had an English breakfast. Eggs were cooked to perfection, beans at a perfect temperature, bacon appropriately crispy and hot, tomato, perfectly grilled, and onion seared just right. We were going to come here for Saturday morning, but we dipped off to Buchan caves early, but I am glad we tried it today.

Very busy place, and the most efficient staff we have ever seen. One server was able to stack plates and clean the table in one trip, and it was a table for four!
