This park has possibly the best view on the Gold Coast. With all the water activity enthusiasts on the Alley, the waves, the sandy beaches, the rocks and turquoise waters all set upon a backdrop of the Gold Coast and Surfers Paradise cityscape, it doesn't get any better than this. At night the amazing skies turn into magic so make a perfect spot for that romantic picnic. With a playground, toilets, cold shower, boiling water on tap and a dog friendly park it has it all. The tribe of dedicated surfers provide spectacular entertainment for those of us who can't (or are too chicken to) surf, and there's even a surf school if you wanna change that. Parking is tight (and not the fault of the vandwellers as some selfish local house-dwellers would purport), but from all the locals and travellers who have discovered this is the best place on earth on any day of the year. Remember to respect nature, don't stay overnight (unless you're fishing) and take your stuff with you....
Read moreThis place is phenomenal. The beach is absolutely beautiful and there's lots of hussle and bustle. We stopped at a great BBQ area which had ample seating and access to some of the most cleanest toilets around. I was especially impressed with the disabled toilet. It was spacious and had access grips where they needed to be. However, unless you get there early the parking can become quite scarce. I was lucky enough to have some binoculars and viewed many gracious breaches from the whales that were passing. Unforgettable...
Read moreGreat park right beside Currumbin beach and Currumbin alley, a great surfing spot. Good little park for the kids, good place to go for exercises for the view, space, different types of exercise types (benches, sort sand, hard sand, great little creek area to swim, grass and a huge set of stairs to give you a workout!). Great views of surfers and the Gold coast coastline. And just down past Currumbin surfclub is "elephant rock" with spectacular views! Creek is great...
