Plan a visit if you are in or around Surfers Paradise for a visit. It's an open park with a beautifully landscaped island for peacocks. Look for street parking near Main Beach (which is not usually busy) as it's just across the road and less than 500m walk. There is also a kids play area in the park.

Secret park as we never noticed it ever since we move to Queensland, but full of surprises as the kids are enjoying their time close to the nature, many birds leaving in the peace place especially we first time saw the little peacock, great place!

Peacocks and all varieties of ducks, geese and birds live and roam free on Macintosh Island, a huge parkland located in the middle of Surfers Paradise. Little wooden bridges cross babbling brooks, walking paths, picnic tables and barbecues under huge shade trees offer a peaceful place to spend some time....
