Gold Coast Gondolas — Attraction in Gold Coast City

So first of all i want to say 95% of this experience was amazing, the hosts were absolutely lovely, the experience on the gondola itself was amazing and the food was well prepared and delicious. I originally gave 5 stars but that was before we received our proposal video. We are now home from our trip and have discussed with family who have validated our disappointment. Unfortunately the video received was extremely poor quality and for it being one of the most important moments of our lives that we wish to cherish, and knowing the many high quality devices that videos/photos can be captured on, we were severely disappointed. The video we received was extremely blurry. Im not sure if that was because of the device it was taken on or because of the file transfer because it was sent to us through whatsapp, but the quality was so very poor. I am very grateful to even have the video at all atleast for my own viewing-i can atleast re-live the moment through the audio, but i was definitely expecting more. We also had photos taken on my digital camera in which only a single photo was usable because the rest were blurry aswell- and our one photo was amazing quality so i know it wasnt my camera. I do wish we spent more time asking for more photos on our phones aswell before we got on the gondola as a just in case. The reason for my 3 stars is simply because for me the video and photos were one of the most important things of this experience and i hope this entices the owners to invest in some better photography/videography devices if they are going to offer...

I would like to thank Gold Coast Gondolas with every ounce of my heart, for helping me plan and execute my proposal to the most amazing woman on the Planet. Every time i spoke with you, you just made it so easy to organise. From the planning of our arrival, choosing the phenomenal Dinner and Dessert, and even getting me her favorite Vintage Pink Champagne, (and a diet coke for her) was the most memorable, easy experience ever. You were fantastic. I was so excited for it to happen. On arrival, you both played along with me, and made a big deal of her birthday, and the story I had told you. It was incredible. She had no idea. The actual Gondola was breathtakingly set up for us. Even with little blankets if we got cold. The music playing was so incredible. The lighting as the sun set was perfect. The cruise around the waterways was so beautiful and calm. The view of the sun going down, as we were practically at the waterline, we will remember forever. Then when we returned to the dock, your reception to us and your congratulations, and adoration to our love and ring, was second to none. Thank you for being part of our 'Happy Ever After'. You will always be in our Hearts. And we will be back for our anniversary! Thank you just doesn't seem enough Gold Coast Gondolas. Forever grateful....

ROMANCE, FLOWERS, CHOCOLATES and GOLD COAST LIGHTS!

This romantic Valentine's Day surprise organised by my hubby could not have been more perfect.

The staff and crew were so helpful and friendly, taking as many photos as we wanted and answering any questions we had. For dinner I had the salmon (it was cut into small cubes, which I hadn't had before), with a salad - which had the most amazing dressing. Hubby had the garlic prawns - which would actually be my pick. The meals are a good size and you get them to eat as soon as you leave.

You are also given the desserts to have at your leisure and a bottle of wine. The chocolate brownie was devine and my fim favourite, but the apple crumble was good, too.

Getting to see the Gold Coast city lights was brilliant and this ride is intimate, special and as romantic as you can get.

A great surprise for a proposal, romantic moment, anniversary gift or even do lunch with another couple.

The guy driving the gondola is unobtrusive and you think you are the only two people on the boat.

If I could give a perfect 10 score I would.
