The Rockpools — Attraction in Gold Coast City

Lovely water park ideal for young kids. Lots of grassy areas with shady spots. No significant obstructions so it’s easy to keep an eye on the kids from one end of the park to the other. The water is shallow so there are no deep swimming areas. The ground is concrete throughout, so perhaps not so useful for babies that are still crawling or still falling a lot when they walk. Kiosk selling coffee & milkshakes right nearby & there’s an awesome fish shop, I was really surprised how good the food was. Look forward to coming back here, kids...

The Rockpools is such an awesome free swimming area for kids! We’ve visited multiple times while on the Gold Coast, and it never disappoints. There’s lots of space for kids to run around and play in the pools and fountains. Plenty of shade is available, which is a huge plus.
