Overall had an extremely disappointing and disheartening experience at the Southport / Broadwater GC Aqua Park today on the 20/9/24. We booked in for the 12:30 session & although we pre booked online the staff were still disorganised. First of all I was given a broken life jacket. They also never told us to take off jewellery in the safety briefing and 5 minutes in I lost a very sentimental ring. I know I can’t hold the park accountable for this but still , they could have told us to remove jewellery. Also the place was way too overcrowded it definitely has to be a health and safety hazard. When I went down the slide I was never told there was a net there either which I hit on impact. To top of the experience I had an extremely rude blonde haired lady talk to me so disrespectfully in a front of heaps of people as I was having trouble getting out of the water. She is actually an embarrassment to the company and made me feel extremely uncomfortable. She made out I was refusing to get out of the water but I simply told her I didn’t need her help as there were already two other lifeguards assisting me. I wasn’t trying to be rude at all but she made me out to be a liar. Also the life jacket I was given was far too small and I now have a red rash. Other patrons at the park were more helpful than the staff which says something within itself. I would definitely not recommend this place to anyone especially if you have children...

My son celebrated his 10th birthday last Sunday. The staff were friendly and helpful with organising the area before our guests arrived. However, the time limit is too constricted, 50min activity in the inflatable is not enough and then you’ll have to pack up all your stuff in less than hour because you get kicked out before the next guests arrive. I think there should be at least 30mins interval to allow for pack up, since we are paying customers too anyway. It felt like everything was in a rush. Also, I purchased the photo package for my son but pretty disappointed as clearly the photographer should be following around the celebrant to take photos, but no photos was taken of my son in the inflatable at all. The video only showed a drone flying over the empty inflatable and just added the group photo of the kids in different layouts. As it is a birthday celebration, an assigned photographer or videographer should be with the group so they can capture real life videos and photos of the kids enjoying the activity. It’s fun going there to go enjoy the obstacle course in the inflatable but never again for a birthday party (it needs a lot of...

My two friends and I had a blast at the aqua park a few weekends ago. Despite it being smack bang in the middle of school holidays and midday on a Saturday, it didn’t feel crowded at all. We were worried it’ll only be suited for younger kids as we’re in our mid 20s but we had so much fun and there were people of all ages there from young children to other adults.

The weather was gorgeous, and there was plenty of staff on to make sure we were all safe. There was plenty to do for an hour, which I felt was a perfect amount of time for us.

It was great value for money, and a fun day out.

Check in was super easy as we had booked online, and I only needed to give them my name before we were given our wristbands and off on our way. My only note is I wish there were more life jackets for the staff to rotate through as they were damp when we...

Best 100 minutes (2×50min sessions) of fun with the family at Southport - 26 October 2022! Booking directly online was quick and easy. Did the waiver at time of booking too. Just over $185 for 5 of us. We were lucky to get parking directly out the front ($4.70 per hour as we were going to be a little longer than 2hrs (early for lifejacket fitting and 10min break in between sessions) *could pay cash or card at meter). Can hire a locker for $5. We took our own drinks and popped them in with our personal items - locker doesn't stay cool but it was a hot day. A couple of picnic tables undercover and some shady areas. Staff were absolutely fabulous and loved how there were lifeguards too. There was a Cafe on site - kids only wanted slushies as we went to the afternoon sessions. Thanks for a wonderfuĺ time!

Great time for the whole family kids over say 3 anyway . As they have a small kids area to play on it’s like a jumping castle on the water . But the obstacles for the older kids and adults is awesome . My kids and other family member has a great 50 min session . They have lockers u can hire for $6 to out ur valuable stuff in while ur on the water . Also they supply the life jackets for everyone . It’s $25 for 50 min session. But I’m sure u will be warn out by the time the 50 mins is up as it’s a workout in some area climbing up and over many obstacles. Make sure ur a good swimmer as the slide go into the deeper waters so u need to be able to swim back to the inflatable platform areas . Great location right across from Australia Fair and next to Southport park .
