At long last - a new attraction has just opened in Leagues Club Park on the Gosford waterfront. And it is a ripper! The Gosford Waterfront Park is a nature inspired space with picnic areas and BBQs. The park is built around three elements - Bulgandry Aboriginal art site, Tidal Terrace (which brings the bay into the park through a shallow waterway) and childrens play ground (with super tunnel slide). Visit this weekend and gasp at a beautiful public space for locals and tourists. What a transformation!

The tidal pool contained water when it opened for a couple of weeks and then it's just been empty since? It was such a cool idea but it doesn't work as intended and it doesn't look like anyone is working on fixing it. 🙃 It's just an overpriced sand pit at the moment. The rest of the park is nice except the parking situation is difficult on most occasions.

Fantastic new(ish) Park that will serve the people of Gosford for many years to come. Playground. BBQ. Toilets. Tables and seats. Limited shade. Indigenous art-work and "wild play" space. Plenty of seating. Water views. Exercise equipment. Nearby playground more suited to older children.

It's lovely that their is a playground however, their are many aspects that could be done better. The first one is that the safety of the playground is very poor, I watched families nearly loose their children, and their is a road with a shared pathway that you could potentially get run over as this road looks like a walking path towards the playground, the playground equipment isn't layed out the best so if theirs many kids using the slide their all coming in from all angles, and climbing up to the top of the hill to use the slide is just getting harder and harder as its dirt and kids need something to hold onto, theirs no fencing so kids can nearly run onto the roads. The next thing the water featured park is just like muddy puddles and could easily be built much better with a splash park with fun things for kids to play with. The next is their just isn't enough play equipment and it is very limited for kids with disabilities. Theirs not many inclusive play areas that can be used. Theirs many play spaces such as Tamworth regional playground and it has a magnificent 2 slides that has an amazing net that is huge, with a splash park, cafe, and better play equipment for all ages and abilities. Waste of...

Great cover over BBQ's, no cover over seating area though, so can't sit as too damn hot or you get wet if raining. Plus too difficult to manoeuvre onto seats anyway, shocking design. No shaded areas for a picnic, no parking as builders in adjacent development take all the parking, not to mention half the park being dug up anyway because of development. Total waste of space, don't bother going. Only good thing are the lovely cleaners that clean the toilets and pick up...
