Ordered a large variety of meals and entrees, The spring rolls were raw and not cooked, I bit into them and tasted disgusting raw meet immediately which I spat out and then had to run to the toilet to vomit. The picture shows the raw mince in the spring roll.
The rude elderly man I believe is the manager/potential owner was horrible and so rude and unprofessional, upon raising my concern about the spring rolls he said that they are not raw and and they are cooked, refused to take accountability and admit their mistake, did not apologise once and instead tried to make out like I was imagining it. Look at the picture the mince is pink and uncooked, I showed this to a waiter and my fiancé whom also agreed.
Disgusting service from this place the elderly man yelled at me and also attempted to put this disgusting raw spring roll in a takeaway container and told me to go and get it tested at a lab because he was adamant it was cooked 😂
This is the worst Chinese restaurant I have ever been to and the worst in this country, I will never go back and would not recommend this horrible place to anyone, we spent the next half an hour vommiting and it ruined are night.
If they had apologised and been professional and polite this could have been handled a lot better but their disgusting attitude and trying to blame the customer when it’s their negligence is truely disgusting and unbelievable.
I cancelled the three mains I ordered as a result, if they were more polite about it, I may not of done this so they lost $100 and have scared us away as customers. The restaurant was pretty empty on a Thursday night, now I know why….
Treat your customers better! Stop trying to lie your way out of things and hire a new chef! Because you’re gonna make someone seriously sick like you did to...
Read moreThis place is in MAJOR need of not only a clean but also a refurbish to bring it into this century. The decor is so dated and dust/grime covered most of the antique relics within, I'm truly surprised the leagues club allowes them to continue to trade in such condition. We visited on a friday night, there was about 5 other tables full at the time, we were first met by a bar tender who visibly hated everything about her job and was working the restaurant like it was a country pub full of miners at 5pm on a friday afternoon. Our food order was taken by an older gentleman who seemed nicer but was very rushed, our entrees strangely came out in 2 separate intervals of about 5 mins apart and then a similar situation with our mains. Our waiters seemed very rushed for such a quiet night which came across as rude and abrupt. We all eventually did enjoy our respective meals in the end, the food was nice, thankfully. As we were paying I had a view into the kitchen and unfortunately witnessed a female waitress shoveling food into her mouth and then spat food into her hand and then threw it into what I assume was a sink or bin before walking straight back out to the floor to tables.
Sadly in this case the good food wasn't enough to save this visit from a 2 star review. Would I reccomend...
Read moreThis is an excellent Chinese restaurant. Quality I can compare with good Chinese restaurants in Sydney. We have become regulars now. We drive over once every few weeks from Umina Beach.
The atmosphere is also fantastic with beautiful Chinese architecture inside it really does feel like an indoor garden with lobster and fish tanks.
The food is excellent. I particularly love the roast duck and the san choybow. I really think you can't go wrong here with what you choose to order. It's all delicious. The staff are very attentive and friendly no matter how busy it is. Squeezed us in with no booking once when it was packed, and considering it was a full house, the service was very good. They even give out complimentary little fortune cookies to the kids.
We also can't wait to try the Yum Cha for lunch. If you have never had it. Do yourself a favour and try it here. We assume it will be just as outstanding as the alacart menu is.
This restaurant was way way better than the overpriced bistro at the Leagues club itself. Honestly, don't waste your time and money at Wildwood. Choose a Peking Garden. Instead, your wallets and tummies will thank you. Thank you for always delivering a wonderful dining experience for our family....
