After a delightful dinner at Peking Garden for my mums birthday, our night was ruined by your security team wrongly accusing my husband of being ‘aggressive and rude’ towards other patrons and staff leading to him being told to leave the premises.
For perspective on the matter, there was another intoxicated patron making sly comments towards my husband as he was ordering coffee from Seed & Vine and NOT ONE of your staff intervened nor contacted security despite the other patron continuing to harass my husband. The other patron was clearly intoxicated yet, my husband paid the ultimate price for your security team’s incompetence by being told to leave after 20 minutes of said incident.
I would also like to highlight that as someone who has enjoyed attending your venue weekly with my husband (since your refurbishment) and whom recommended it to my mum to celebrate her birthday dinner, we were all left feeling humiliated by the actions of your security guard. When asked for the cctv footage that showed the incident, we were abruptly dismissed by your security guard and then met with a range of comments by him such as ‘there were young children and bar staff that saw your behaviour’ and then abruptly told to get out however, the other patron (whom was clearly intoxicated) was permitted to remain on your premises.
Under the Liquor Act 2007, a licensed venue can refuse entry or eject a patron if: intoxicated violent, argumentative, or disorderly smoking in a smoke-free area using, or possess, any substance suspected of being an illicit drug whose presence causes the licensee to become liable to a penalty under the liquor laws.
Considering my husband did not fit into any of the above categories to warrant him being ejected from your venue, I strongly suggest you provide feedback to the security guard in question regarding his misconduct on how this matter was handled. Furthermore, for your security guard to acknowledge that young children were present near the bar whom ‘witnessed my husbands body language’ , I’m certain that is also a breach in itself as they have not exercised their due diligence to act in accordance with the Liquor Act in ensuring that children are not within close proximity of a licensed Liquor area without a responsible adult present.
I am truely appalled by this experience and hope that no other patron endures the same humiliating treatment that we faced last night by your...

The Central Coast Leagues Club is a safe bet for when you are looking for something to do, eat, or have a couple of drinks. This review will focus on the food of Archie's Brasserie, the general attitude and performance of the staff, as well as the cost of the menu.
I ordered the rump 250g main, cooked rare. The chef cooked the steak to my specification; also, it was tender, juicy, and delectable. The flavour was perfect.
The chips were adequate. That might sound substandard, but I can assure you it's arduous to find establishments on the Central Coast that can meet the standard with chips. The potato was fluffy on the inside and lightly crisp on the outside.
The salad was the worst part of the meal. It was second-rate at best. It appeared and tasted like a supermarket store packet salad. The quality of the salad won't affect my review since I am lenient due to it being tertiary to the chips and steak.
The front desk staff are always friendly and accommodating. The smiles of the workers and their nice uniforms help establish how the Central Coast Leagues Club prides itself on keeping a high standard. The staff was friendly, timely, and pleasant to talk with.
The rump 250g main is $26 for members and $31 for non-members. I advise becoming a member if you think you will go to the Central Coast Leagues Club more than once a year, as the savings on the food adds up quickly. It's $4.40 for a year. You'll get an instant return if you order a main at the brasserie since the member savings range between $4-$5.
In conclusion, I recommend regular visits to the Central Coast Leagues Club, Archie's Brasserie specifically. I also recommend becoming a member to get savings on your entrees, mains, and drinks. There's always something good to eat at the Central Coast Leagues Club, so you, your friends, and your family should...
Read moreIf anyone even reads this...I dined in the "Wildwood" restaurant here with my family this evening, tonight the poor customer service of most of the staff, let down the venue and our expected experience tonight.
The first star was earnt by Graham who was on the door this evening to greet us on sign in. He was lovely, friendly and gave a warm welcome to your venue. The second star was the beautiful decor and new look of the place and the convenient play area for the kids. The "birdcage" not "booth" (as i was corrected by a staff member) was actually really nice to sit.
I wasnt told at ordering that you had run out of chips, so we were surprised to find sweet potato chips when we were served our meal, which that meant my daughter couldnt eat because she doesnt like them. So after having to find a solution myself as all i was offered was a refund... I suggested i would just go to the cafe and see what they have, on my way the same staff member was laughing and pointing at me and my daughter assuming she was talking about my situation, I was very uncomfortable and said to her "Its really not that funny my daughter has nothing to eat". A different staff member in the cafe said she could go to a different department where they have more chips (which I am just assuming was the main freezer). So thank you to her. Not The rude girl, that served my food with the long blonde curly ponytail. Throughout the remainder of the evening I felt like a kid at high school. Awkward glances at me from other staff members, luckily i enjoyed the company of my family because the staff were so rude. I would happily come and do a free crash course in customer service...
