Polytec Stadium — Attraction in Gosford

I had the pleasure to go and see the Mariners play Macarthur soccer game. The match was very exiting eventhough the Mariners lost. While the stadium entry to and from the event was a breeze there was one stupidity that remained in my thoughts. There I took my grandson to get some hot chips and chiss-crossed thorough the rope snake line to the counter only to be told that my grandson is not allowed in there and was not served befits I sent my grandson away out of the waiting line. I do not understand the reason for this. There I am trusted with a 7 yea old to look after and have to leave him in the crowd behind me while I turn and be distracted with my purchase not seeing him for several minutes. What a nightmare. We went there to see the Mariners play Melbourne City FC, and we had the correct amount of tickets but we think that the attendant must've scanned one ticket but didn't send one of our group through. So, I ended up unable to get through the gates. It's not difficult maths to see that we had seven tickets but only six of us could go through (they were standing waiting for us for ten minutes). The attendant was to ignorant or arrogant to see this simple issue and just let me through the gates. Last night we attended the new years eve mariners game. There was a delay in the game of 40minutes to fix the broken goalpost. With an impending storm approaching, a lot of people left early to view the fireworks adjacent. During this time, I and most around me have nothing but absolute praise for the venue staff who gave constant updates and went out of their way to relocate families in covered seats. A picturesque and friendly venue. Friendly and obviously happy staff. Facilities are very clean and services fast and efficient. What would of been a frustrating disaster of a night was not.
