Halls Gap Botanical Gardens is a gem for a quick stroll or mental preparation before the hike to the top. The diversity of plant species on display was breathtaking, with everything from native Australian wildflowers to exotic succulents and ferns. The pathways were easy to navigate, and there were plenty of benches and shaded areas to rest and take in the surroundings. Read moreA lovely little garden, made better if you take it slow and look out for the smaller Australian Natives. The sculptures tell a story and really are quite arty. there are a couple of memorial stones there which is a nice acknowledgement to those who put effort into its maintenance.
