If i was commenting on the food alone it would probably be a 4 star review, however the atmosphere was terrible with the owner throwing the menus down when 4 people walked out because they were sick of waiting for a menu and got a takeaway menu only to be told they cant order from the takeaway menu. Then I had to sit there and listen to him rant and rave about how they would have to close the doors in a month, and how he has had enough. I also did not like to see a bed behind the counter. The food is more expensive when you dine in, which if it was a nice restaurant you wouldn't mind paying. However it is dirty and cluttered with wooden reusable chopsticks and unfinished paint job. I was also charged $2,00 for paying by card, because i spent just under $20. I can buy a better bowl of vietnamese pho for $12,00 without the drama at another restaurant on the southside. Not going back. Never felt so uncomfortable ever...

Wow. I work in Redcliffe and have been eyeing off this restaurant to get a Banh Mi at lunch some time and today was the day. I went in and the place looks nice enough, the sort of restaurant I like, waited 5 min then the owner passes me my roll. I state I haven't paid for it yet and can I pay by card? He says yes $10, I say ain't they $8? The owner then goes on an aggressive rant about going broke and people paying by card. I say fine I'll go get money out and he's still ranting. I repeat $2 to use eftpos is excessive and then he comes out of the shop appearing like he wants to fight me??? I stood my ground and stated I would have been happy to pay 50c for eftpos, he tells me not to come back 😂 fair to say he didn't need to say that. Obviously a person under stress but to be aggressive to a customer for a valid question if unacceptable. If you like this restaurant go have dinner and help...

What a shame this place has delicious food and no atmosphere. Our first and only visit in June. I don't want to see the owner wearing boardies and thongs with very long dirty toenails eating at the table next to me, then sitting at my table to take my order only to go back to eating. After we hesitantly ordered our Pho, our Aussie waiter put a music video of an Eagles concert of which he continued to eat and whistle to the songs. This currently under some renovations bistro was disappointing to say the least. Boxes and building materials lent up against the wall where we sat. Food was delicious and authentic, and when we paid for our meal, the owner asked us if it was good enough to return. Unfortunately...

The food was very tasty and great value. I came to this place 4 or 5 years ago when I was visiting Brisbane for the first time and I was looking for a pho near by and I found this place . I always stop by to eat Vietnamese food for dinner near by when I was in Brisbane . Fast forward later I recently came back to this place this year. I would come again. My favourite dish was the beef pho, dim sum dumplings ,veggie spring rolls and the pork spring roll . I highly recommend everyone to try the dumplings and the spring rolls 10/10 😃 I also try an alternate dish was deep fried chicken with rice . But 100% I give the spring rolls and dumplings a try .

Well..its a family owned business with authentic Viernames food, the owner Rob was very personable and knew which dishes camevfrom which regions. We had wanton noodle soup and Chines duck and mushroom with rice . The soup was delicious but the wantons were in want of some mince or other meaty insides as they seem to have unravelled in the makingbir serving. The bbq pork portions though more than made up for it and the overall flavour was delicious. You couldnt go wrong with paying them a visit. Prices are reasonable and the food authentic .

We're passionate about great food, and through our travels, we've developed a deep appreciation for Pho, one of our favourite Vietnamese dishes. To our delight, we discovered this hidden gem just down the road. We only wish we'd found it sooner! The meal left us with happy, satisfied bellies, and the warm, welcoming atmosphere made the experience even more enjoyable. It gave us the perfect setting to relax, share conversation with each other, and even chat with the lovely owner. We will be back for sure.
