Today we had a wonderful time at Suttons Beach in Redcliffe! The beach is clean, peaceful, and family-friendly. The calm water is perfect for a relaxing swim or just soaking your feet. There’s plenty of open space for a picnic, and the grassy areas under the shade of big trees are perfect for relaxing.

The walking path along the beach is great for a stroll with beautiful ocean views, and there are BBQ facilities and benches all around. Parking was easy to find, and public toilets were clean and nearby. There are also some great cafés just across the road for coffee or snacks.

What makes this beach special is its calmness — not overly crowded, and the whole environment feels safe and welcoming. Whether you're coming with kids, friends, or just alone for a quiet break, Suttons Beach is a lovely spot to unwind.

Highly recommended for a weekend getaway close to...

Lovely family orientated free lagoon style pool. With shelter free electric barbies for all to use. As they have right along the beach front.. There are kid friendly pools as well. Volanteer Life Guards on duty from 7.am to 5.pm. Definitely dont dive into the pool as you'll be kicked out think of your safety before you dive in. Also kids playground lots of security cameras for you and your family's safety. So take the family along to the Redcliffe Lagoon or anywhere along the beach front take your canoe, footy, blow ups, or play cricket on the sand a barbie...

Lovely atmosphere. I went there on a winters day, the sun was shining, waves gently lapping the shore, had a feed of fish and chips and a tasty beverege. A fantastic place to while away a couple of hours. Never too crowded and the view at night is spectacular. Looking across the water at Moreton Island and the Brisbane City Wharf all lit up like a Christmas tree. Perfect place to bring the family or a date. Will definitely...

Suttons Beach Redcliffe 4/5 stars What a shock to find a beach close to Brisbane and there are waves! Such a shame they got rid of the pavilion but this place is perfect for a coffee along the water or a picnic, with plenty of seating. If you walk along the walkway you will see the coast and rocks, it’s very lovely! A great escape from the hustle and bustle of the city !

Definetly an experience and a half. I was on the beach, calling to my whale family, when I came back to shore I had my Gerni in operation, blowing out all the sand from my cracks and crevices, when I noticed that the sand was not even the roughest part of my day. I soon became aware of the approaching pirates out of the corner of one eye.
