We strolled down Hampden road from the Jackson Ross cafe — it’s about 2minute easy walk downhill. Nice quiet area. Battery Point Sculpture Trail 2000 is located in this park. Good views of Derwent river. Waterfront path to Salamanca goes around CSIRO complex. Easy stroll level path. There is a family sized table — to enjoy quiet lunch and a Sculpture artwork with bench. Absolutely beautiful place at sunset. We went for a walk and ended up here, then climbed over some of the rocks to head to pier... not sure if it was a private pier, seemed to be for the houses there once we got closer, but we enjoyed our...

Small park mostly concrete jetty for fishing, boats etc. Water very clear so can see lots of small fish, starfish etc.Very peaceful despite being close to centre of Hobart. Pleasant walk on footpath back into...
