I do not complain but today I was very disappointed by the food, service or should I say lack of both I have been going to the Cafe every month for the last 4 years We did have service problems when the cafe came under the Cricket Club again a few months ago but this was rectified Today we had to wait a long period of time before being served We ordered both coffee and food together as we could see the only waitress was slow The coffee was served staggered to the table with two people not getting theirs, even after both the barista and waitress both checked and were told we were two coffee shorts After 30 minutes I cancelled my coffee The food was no different, it came out staggered with one order not filled even after they were informed. Had lunch with friends. I have never been there before, and staff were friendly, but my choice of corn fritters was not! I expected some delicious homemade corn fritters ( so easy to make) would be delivered, but sadly they were 4 stodgy uniform sized tasteless frozen fritters, covered in avocado salsa and sour cream. First time at this cafe and I was quite impressed. The venue was very clean and well presented and the food was delicious. No-one in our group left any of their meal - which is testimony to the quality of the food and presentation. Each of the five in the group had a different meal, too.
