Like stepping back in time to the heyday of Battery Point. It is wonderful that one of the historic homes that lines its streets has been restored and opened to the public. The rooms are superbly restored: from the formal entertaining rooms at the front to the servants quarters and kitchens you get a real sense of the different sides of 19th century life.
