My partner and I first decided to eat at Devil's Kitchen shortly after we moved to Hobart and found ourselves amazed with their delicious and very well priced food. The chips are probably the best that we've ever had (we've done a lot of travelling) and somehow manage to be perfect every time. The most expensive burger is $14 and feels like it weighs half a kilo, when you combine that with a side of chips included in the price you've probably got yourself the best combination of flavour and value for money in a burger in Australia. Since that first visit we have become regulars and make sure that a trip to Devils is on the cards weekly! The shakes are tasty and always topped off with a couple of Corinthian wafers. With all that being said, I still would have to say that the best thing about Devil's Kitchen is the amazing service provided by Nina and her team. They make you feel special in a warm and cosy atmosphere and will always go out of their way to ensure that you enjoy the visit. Thank you Nina, we are so glad that we stepped foot in your restaurant and we look forward to many more delicious meals!...

This is one of my favorite places. If you visit Hobart, you must go here. I've been a customer for a long time and I love talking to the friendly staff and reading books in their cozy dining room.

Here are my recommended menu items:

Devil's Chicken: This is their signature burger with traditional Korean fried chicken sauce. As a big fan of Korean chicken, I think Devil's sauce is the best chicken sauce in Hobart.

Beef with a Lot: This is a really big beef burger. My husband loves this burger, and we usually request cooked pineapple on the grill which makes it even better. The relish on the burger is very flavorful.

Garlic Chicken: If you haven't tried it yet, I definitely recommend this burger. The thigh fillet of the Garlic burger is big and juicy.

Tip: You don't need to buy chips because they come with the burger, but you can upgrade to garlic chips(super good!!!) for an additional four dollars.

I always thank you for your great food and kindness.

If you’re reading this, do yourself a favour and get some honest to goodness bite and drinks ;)

And if you’re after they’re ultra delish burgers, head over after 10am 🙌🏼

💫#5 Royal Cheese - thick well seasoned and perfectly cooked patties in a soft and slightly crusty fragrant burger bun. Even though I’m not a pickle fan, they were Yums! Oh and the fries were just so good - freshly fried thick cut chips we’ve crispy and not oily.

💫#13 Devilled Chicken - fried battered chicken served with this housemade chilli sauce which is simply amazing. I’ll try to see if they hav thicker cut chicken next time. And they were accomodating to switch my fries to salad.

Just like Fergburger is a Queenstown NZ must do, so is Devils Kitchen in Hobart along with Mona & Mt Wellington IMO. Will def recommend to friends visiting. Thanks again for having us and your great...

My family came here on a Saturday morning, hungry and ready for a unique, relaxed, satisfying brunch. Devils Kitchen Cafe was perfect for this! We had a lovey sunny table, and the owners allowed us to store four large hiking packs and other luggage (as we were between a hike and the airport) near our table in safety. The menu was amazing and we all ordered things that we loved. We had time for a few rounds of cards and never felt rushed to leave. It was a pleasure to longer in the sun and order a second round of coffees before we had to go. 100% recommended.
