Came here on 8th of September and I got to tell you the lifeguards are just for show

I'm a ten yr old girl and today my brother that's 8 jumped into the deep pool. My brothers not a good swimmer so he started to panic because he could not touch the bottom of the pool. My mum and I tried to help but because we're not stronger swimmers either we couldnt keep ourselves above the water. There were 2 "lifeguards" on either side of the pool just watching us struggle. My mum had to yell to a lifeguard HELP ME for them to actually throw the floaty out to get my brother and mum to get them to safty. I managed to swim to the other side and I started to see what was happening. No concern for any of us all they did was walk of not even a word from them its like dude 3 people nearly drownd It was embarrassing enough for my mum to nearly drown as a grown adult but then a couple of woman stared laughing. The lifeguards are useless you might not be a babysitter but you have a job try to actually do it and to the manager get better employees is this really all you...

Super nice, but the Lifegaurds are pretty slack. My 2 kids and myself were here for 10 minutes before my kids almost drowned. There were 2 lifeguards on duty and they were staring at my kids as they're struggling and I'm running towards them to get them out. If I didn't react fast enough there would be a different news segment on ABC tonight. It wasn't until one of my kids yelled about the lifeguards doing literally nothing to help that the lifeguards kicked into gear and actually started doing their job by having five active lifeguards patrolling on duty and making a conscious effort to actually keep an eye out for people who require assistance. Since the incident with my children the lifeguards have suddenly made about 2 announcements about safety. Made a show about seeing if some required assistance and saved a 12 year old from drowning. To the lifeguards, no you aren't babysitters, but you have a job that requires you to be vigilant and switched on at all times. This isn't a job you can slack off on especially as summers just...
