Title: Disappointing Experience at Galatissimo, Orion Springfield Central

Today I visited Galatissimo in Orion Springfield Central for ordering a takeaway, hoping for a pleasant experience. Unfortunately, my visit was marred by unacceptable behavior from the staff that left me feeling disrespected and unwelcome.

Upon entering the restaurant, I was met with a staff who was reluctant in setting me and upon choosing my flavour, she said that the cost would be some $$ and if I am ok to go ahead with the order. She didn’t do that either other patrons. I felt highly disrespected and being judged which probably may be due to my ethnic background? She then went and started explaining something to a fellow staff pointing out to me.

What truly saddened me was the racial and judgmental remarks made by a member of the staff regarding my background. Such behavior is not only unprofessional but also deeply hurtful. No one should ever be subjected to discrimination, especially in a public setting like this international brand.

Overall, my experience at Galatissimo was incredibly disappointing, and I cannot recommend it to others. It's disheartening to encounter such ignorance and intolerance in this day and age. I hope the management takes steps to address these issues and create a more inclusive environment for all customers.

Ethan was extremely rude. I have uploaded the photos of the cake. We order a cake for 30th July . The cake was meant to be 50% Sugar free Chocolate and 50% Double Choc brownie. I had my mom pick up the cake , instead this employee called Ethan made the cake incorrectly. made it over 80% sugar free chocolate and at most 20% Choc chip brownie. I had already prepaid the $76 , had we know we would be cheated like I would not have prepaid.

I had called up the store, where Ethan preferred to insult my intelligence and insisted that its even and made correctly. Have a look at the photos and tell me if THAT LOOKS CORRECT or 50/50. perhaps he is blind.

The cake was also missing the choc brownie inside as seen in 2nd pic and he refuses to acknowledge that as well. the Choc brownie flavour is meant to be a premium price , so we paid extra for nothing, which I doubt is legal.

They refuse to do anything about it , we asked for a different cake or a partial refund at least for charging us for items you didn't deliver on.

Safe to say the Ipswich gelatissmo is better if you want to get a cake

From the moment we stepped inside, we were greeted by the most friendly and attentive staff I have encountered in a while. Their warm smiles and genuine enthusiasm created a welcoming atmosphere that instantly put us at ease. They went above and beyond to make our visit memorable, particularly with their interactions with our young child.

The gelato selection is truly fantastic. The array of flavors available was a delight to see. Every scoop was massive as well, they don't skimp.

But what truly set this Gelatissimo apart was the exceptional staff. They took the time to engage with our child, making him smile and laugh throughout our visit. It's not often that you come across such genuine warmth and care, and it made our experience truly special.

Their knowledge and passion for gelato were evident, as they happily offered recommendations and let us sample different flavors before making our choices.

The seating area was clean and comfortable, providing a cozy spot for us to enjoy our gelato. We appreciated the attention to detail in the store's ambiance, which added to the overall pleasant experience.
