From the first conversation with Dean in November 2024, all the way to the staff and team working on the night in May 2025 - I couldn't have asked for a more MAGICAL night and experience for my black tie event celebrating my business - The Butterfly Brand - Turning 10.
Absolutely everyone and everything about All Smiles is (and was) beautiful - the views, the organisation, the food, the communication, the team, the staff, the drinks.
I reached out in November 2024 to enquire about planning my 10 Year Business Anniversary and Healing Journal launch for May 2025. Meeting with Dean and Shell was wonderful, they answered all my questions and made the process very easy. My biggest question was: "Will there be enough food served on the night?" (ethnic life right?). Dean assured me that there would, and there was!
Leading up to the event, Nua was absolutely amazing, calm and wonderful. Whenever I had any organisation hurdles, she came to my rescue and alleviated all the stress. She helped me by opening the venue the night before the event so we can set up and focus only on the guests at the event - I cannot tell you how helpful that was considering all the inventory and gifts I had to set up.
Which brings us to the night itself. My goodness! Though I am an author and writer, words do not quite do enough justice for the night. My guests flew in from as far as upper North Queensland, Sydney and even Wollongong and Melbourne. ALL OF THEM loved the venue, loved the food, drinks, vibe and staff. I only had glowing reviews afterwards. Everyone said that the food kept coming and coming. And the drinks flowed all night too.I have hosted two other launches in the past and this is the first time my guests raved on and on about the venue and food/drinks.
As well as my guests, I was fussed over and looked after. After 7 months of organisation, sales, tending to all the nitty gritty details, and the stress of organising a black tie event - I felt that 10 year anniversary for my business and journal launch went better than I could've dreamed.

Steve and I celebrated our EPIC joint 30th birthday on Friday 24th January at ALL SMILES Docklands, and a HUGE part of making the night epic was due to your wonderful staff and venue!
From the moment we met you Dean, we felt comfortable and it was easy to share our vision with you. You were very generous with what you offered us and highly accommodating. This helped to take out the stress out of organising the event 🙂
When we arrived at the venue, we immediately fell in love - my oh my, it's absolutely breathtaking. And as you assured us, no need for extra decorations, the little touches your crew provided (candles, fresh flowers, etc.) really did make it that bit more special!! And the views - WOW! What a wonderful little jewel you have ❤️
The FOOD- Definitely didn't need a maccas run on the way home... So many of our guests boasted about the abundance of food, as well as the quality - yummmmy!! The way the team timed the food was perfect, as well as their professionalism in serving the food and making sure they got around to all of our guests.
And the staff .... Your amazing, hard-working, easy-going staff!! They really made the night, what it was!
Fiona was especially accommodating to us in EVERY way. She was easy to work with and made our vision come alive! Fiona was very flexible and down-to-earth, helped us to feel calm and reassured us in every way we needed it. Thanks for taking the time to meet with us.
All the staff at the bar/kitchen were lots of fun and made our night much easier!! They communicated effectively throughout the night, made sure everyone was well acquainted with drinks & food, and helped us to gauge the vibe of the night when timing the formalities. An extremely helpful and kind crew! THANK YOU!

Read moreWhat a remarkable venue and exceptional staff. As an event planner I have had the luxury of hosting several events at various venues within Melbourne. None of wich come close to all smiles.
Communication was fluid and effortless. Every member of the team I dealt with was professional, kind and adaptable. Front the booking team to the wait staff, to the security guards. this made every element of our event from the beginning right through to the end enjoyable and easy.
The venue was clean and always well kept. Seating is plentiful and does not encumber the space. The view is truly spectacular even more so at night when the bridge and city lights up. The lighting options are fantastic especially when arranging an event specific to a theme (wich is what we did. The venue was lit up in green and really added to the atmosphere and ambiance). The stairs are wide allowing for easing access and for those who might find the stairs difficult a lift is there and accessible.
The food was plentiful and never ending. As a person who comes from a European background this was a big issue for us. We weren’t really sure what to expect. But trusted the previous reviews left here on google. I can confirm that not only were we more than satisfied but we were also pleasantly surprised. The food was immaculate in both presentation and taste. We had family that didn’t eat all day on the hopes to eat as much as they could that evening and they still couldn’t consume enough and the food !! The food literally did not stop and literally was fantastic.
To suffice, I have absolutely nothing negative to say about this venue and the team. I highly recommend this space for any and all of your events and am so excited to host another one of ours there at our next opportunity.
