Chase is easily the worst restaurant you can visit. The food is far from fresh; it's pre-made, and they just warm it up before serving it to you and even that isn’t done properly. Even the kebabs are pre-made, which is baffling. Who pre-makes kebabs? As a result, they’re not only cold by the time they reach you, but they also become tough and hard to chew. The wait time for your order is ridiculously long, even though the place isn’t busy. It takes forever just to reheat food. The bread is awful too when they microwave it, it hardens within minutes and becomes unappetizing. On top of all that, the prices listed online don’t match what you’ll actually pay in person. Everything on the menu has gone up by at least $10. The kebab with rice, which is listed as $29.99 online, now costs $39.99. Save yourself the trouble avoid this place entirely. I won’t be coming back, and I definitely won’t recommend it to anyone. Terrible service and food. New Feedback (because i cant reply to the owner’s feedback): I believe you are worse then mcdonals, they have better and faster service then you guys, always giving hot food unlike your restaurant. Additionally, this platform is made for people to come out and give their opinions, I highly encourage you to read the feedbacks and work on your service instead of accusing your customers. You can simply prevent the negative feedbacks by improving your service. Please consider reviewing and working on your management. Your reply to my feedback was faster then serving the dinner. Why do you give the same reply to everyone?

If you’re looking for a place that combines amazing food, stunning interiors, and warm hospitality, Chase Docklands is a must-visit! From the moment we walked in, the elegant décor and beautiful table settings created a luxurious vibe. The view of the Docklands waterfront added the perfect backdrop to the evening. The food? Absolutely delicious. Every dish is packed with authentic Middle Eastern flavor — from the juicy kebabs to the rich, fragrant rice and fresh dips. You can really taste the Afghan and Persian influence. The presentation was spot-on too! Perfect for dinner with friends, date nights, or even group celebrations. Great ambiance Friendly and attentive staff Open late (till 2 AM!) Reasonably priced for the quality and experience Highly recommend booking in advance — this place gets busy for all the right reasons! Can’t wait to come back. But let me tell you the real secret: Ask for Bella. She’s not just a waitress — she’s the soul of the place! 💃 Charming, funny, professional, and somehow always one step ahead of what you need. I swear she might be part mind-reader, part magician.✨ She turned our dinner into a full-on experience. And don’t miss the chance to meet Hamid, the owner. This man takes care of the place like it’s his home. He’s often there personally greeting guests and making sure everyone feels welcome and looked after. True hospitality at its best. And the entire staff team? Just amazing. Everyone is welcoming, professional, and you can see they take pride in the service. It’s rare to find a team this consistent and warm.

Plenty of 5 star first time reviews here. Unfortunately we cannot be as complimentary. We paid $50 for a 3 skewer mixed kebab, $40 for a 2 skewer chicken kebab, and $40 for a chapli kebab entree and $20 for a lemon lime and mint crush, and $5 for Afghan bread. The chapli was advertised as 5 servings and only 4 came out. So $10 each for a burger Pattee, no flavour. Just dry mince. At $50 for the mixed kebab we expected quality to match or exceed the excellent 4 skewer plates we get at Dandenong Afghan Balk for $25. It did not make the cut, rather it was tough dry lamb and chicken. Was hoping for juicy marinated chicken, cooked over hot charcoal that melted in your mouth. We paid $165 for two people, whereas we have paid $55 at Dandenong, Sunshine and other excellent Afghan restaurants and those servings came with hot freshly made Afghan bread included in the price. The only difference here was the view across Docklands and that in itself did not justify the expensive outlay. We have lived and worked in Afghanistan and many middle eastern countries and know the cuisine very well. Even the Kebab Mashewi mixed platter from Al Saniour directly across the harbour, with 6 skewers of lamb, chicken and mince, and 2 lamb cutlets, for $60 was 100% better quality and value. Understand that the rental there is costly, but the dozens of restaurants that have gone bust in this location over the past 10 years have done so for a reason. You are an Afghan restaurant, not a 3 hatted Michelin star fine dining establishment. Wishing you the best.

Chase Docklands is a fantastic addition to the vibrant Docklands area of Melbourne! Whether you're looking for a delightful dining experience or a comfortable stay, Chase seems to offer something special. For dining, Chase Docklands presents a unique fusion of Afghan, Persian, and Middle Eastern cuisines. Reviews highlight the flavorful and traditional dishes, often enjoyed with stunning waterfront views. The ambiance is described as chic and stylish, creating a relaxed and warm environment perfect for various occasions, from casual meals to special celebrations. What sets it apart is the lively entertainment, including captivating belly dancing performances and live music, adding an extra layer of enjoyment to the experience. They also offer shisha, enhancing the Middle Eastern vibe. It appears to be an excellent venue for private functions, with the ability to tailor menus and entertainment. If you're considering accommodation, "Chase Apartments-Boutiquehotel Style II" receives high praise for its great location, with easy access to main sights and public transport. Guests have found the apartments to be lovely, comfortable, and clean, often featuring modern bathrooms and well-equipped kitchenettes. Some apartments even boast amazing views. While a couple of minor points like shower temperature or missing coffee machines have been mentioned, the overall sentiment leans heavily towards a positive and convenient stay. The inclusion of amenities like free Wi-Fi and parking adds to the appeal. Living in Docklands generally offers a modern urban lifestyle with contemporary high-rise apartments and beautiful waterfront views. Residents appreciate the proximity to Melbourne's CBD, excellent public transport links (including free trams), and a variety of restaurants and shops. While some note a potential lack of a strong community feel compared to other inner-city suburbs, Docklands is considered safe and offers access to amenities like gyms and fitness facilities. The presence of a community library and a primary school also makes it appealing...
