Dear Prime Minister, You have to protect the society from destruction of buildings, The politicians have made a mistake, the city's historical landmarks should be protected against the greed of the politicians in Australia, i urge the court of justice to take action and to be involved in this matter as to protect its city. visit my work, This politican they acted very poorly, this city they should be allowed to destroy such historical landmarks just to build a new building. Destroying gardens to build new cities. Putting economics before people. They destroy expensive buildings to just replace it with another. This all destroying the economics of the city. We have to wake up to defend our city. They can not destroy another street or building. Their continued greed is destroying our city. We must defend our buildings. Destroying all of swanson's street all the way to the Victorian Market. We have to stop them, for the just wasted of money. We have to wake up to stop them. This is our responsibility of all Australian citizens and media to show them the damage they are doing. Destroying our freedom and our economic, we must defend our freedom and independence. Displacing so many families to build new building how can that be called freedom. We must defend our city, in the free state we live it must be our choice for the local good. They can do good and they do bad, they must focus on only positive influences on the city. They must start branching we can't continue to build on this all ready over populated city. Destroying streets and our way of life without building on the infustrusure. They are not thinking on the long term impacts of this constitute. Only looking to the short term gains. All the power is going to their head, shirking their brains. No longer using they intelligence just using their power, just no...

Bourke Street Mall – A Vibrant Night in Melbourne

I recently had an unforgettable night exploring Bourke Street Mall, and if you’re planning to visit Melbourne, this spot is a must. My friend and I kicked off our adventure in Chinatown, then made our way to Bourke Street Mall around 9:13 PM on a Saturday. The atmosphere was buzzing – the trams were packed, and the streets were filled with people. It felt like we were at the heart of the city.

The best way to experience Bourke Street Mall is on foot. The wide pedestrian walkways make it easy to explore and take in the sights. The energy here is unmatched – from the street performers to the late-night dancers, there’s always something happening. We also grabbed a bite at Hungry Jack’s along the way, enjoying the city’s 24-hour vibe.

We visited several clubs that night, including Whitehart Club and Carlton Club, hopping from one to the next. It was a fun way to experience Melbourne’s nightlife. Despite the crowd, the city felt safe and smooth, with people just enjoying their weekend. Yes, we saw a few fights and some people smoking in corners, but it didn’t distract from the overall experience.

One thing that really stood out was how Melbourne never sleeps. People were out cycling, walking, and just enjoying the night – the energy was incredible. If you’re visiting, definitely take the time to walk around Bourke Street Mall and check out the nearby Chinatown. You’ll get a real feel for the city’s pulse, and it’s an experience you...

I like the layout of Bourke Street Mall. It has no cars only trams. Easy to shop and get around plus there’s seating and art work. At Christmas time, Myer and all of the mall is decorated in Christmas lights and decorations, it’s just magical. When you are in the mall and need a rest, sit down on one of the many seats provided, well so long as they are not taken already. You can sometimes see buskers and most times they are good. Take a walk into the Royal Arcade via the Bourke Street mall as it’s magnificent. Enjoy all of the old buildings especially if you like architecture or are just interested in buildings. Some wonderful examples of craftsmanship and an era that will never come back is here.

If you are looking for food, there is a huge range, you just have to look in the buildings and then the laneways off the mall.

Fashion: There’s lots of fashion of all kinds for all ages including bargains if you look.

If you want to know something in Melbourne, ask the people in red shirts, they are volunteers who help visitors of all kinds find what they are looking for.

Sit down, enjoy a coffee or hot chocolate, watch the people go by and take in the sites as this is all part of the experience of Melbourne and the Bourke Street...

This is one of the liveliest places in Melbourne and with Melbourne's two main department stores, Myer and David Jones, it's certainly the retail heart of Melbourne. It's where every fashionista seems to head for. It also includes the stunningly refurbished Melbourne GPO which is now home to the Swedish high-street fashion chain H&M and there's a Melbourne Visitor Information booth in the centre of the Mall where you can get help, maps and local information. The Mall is also famous for its buskers and street performers. Sitting on the steps outside the GPO's H&M is a hot spot to watch the best of these with the raised steps of the GPO giving you the feeling that you're in an amphitheatre. Melbourne truly rocks!!!

Something has been lost over the years. Either it's my inflated expectations, or the mall has lost its uniqueness. There's good seating; clothes shopping; bollards to stop crazed drivers driving over people on the footpath; and plenty of people. There's just nothing that shouts "Come here - don't go elsewhere!" Actually, the historic buildings are amazing. I guess covid has forced a lot of places out of business. The signs of homelessness and begging have increased, which is a sad, tell-tale sign of the economy. A busker played some beautiful and haunting music on pan pipes. I walked through the mall and didn't feel like stopping to buy anything.
