Burndap Park — Attraction in Melbourne

The walking trails on both sides of the Maribyrnong River and Burndap park in general are just lovely. There is a playground at one end and others in adjacent parks, various facilities to bbq or picnic (best spot if you need public toilets is Pipemaker's Park) and there are a few convenient spots to park too. Found this place by accident while trying to find the entrance to Footscray park, which turns out yo be a 17 mins walk from Burndap Park :)

Lovely lotus flowers at their small wetlands, and I would say a great trail if you are on your bike. The weather was just too hot for a walk, but I can imagine that it would be a lovely walk...
