Crown Melbourne — Attraction in Melbourne

As I’ve been coming to Crown Towers for more than 20 years it was sad to see the recent changes; It’s as beautiful as it was, yet the below changes have delivered a severe quality drop in its guests experiences. For me; it’s time to find a new home in Melbourne for business trips.

Room furniture worn down. No replenishment of the mini bar or fridge. (stayed 4 nights) Remotes were difficult to use, tech support to use Chromecast was not proficient with its staff.

Crown Spa. No ability to sit on day beds, without a $90.00 charge, which gives you 2 juices or local Prosecco’s. They were roped off, and as a week long guest, these have been part of the reason I book this recovery between meetings. No menu poolside. A cold selection of a salad and wrap, which used to be a full menu that was brought to the spa. Post booking 2 treatments a huge disappointment, and logistically now impossible for me to book my business clients for a treatment and meal in a stunning setting. Poolside beverage menus were not stocked to give coconut water, and sugar filled juices were the options offered post guests spending hundreds on treatments, what a disappointment!

Conservatory Probably the worst service, a manager abruptly asking me to leave at 11. Its service will give you a 1 hour limit for your breakfast. As a business guest, Clients join me and this time restraint gives scarcity to the experience. Sharing a meal over a 1 hour timeframe not ideal, then told that there is only 1 hot drink per guest provided within the package. No hot water and tea coffee station provided - another huge disappointment.

Crystal club is priced at an additional $165.00 per head per day, which overcomes hot drinks and some space for business hosting, yet means you are bound to the hotel for its 3 sessions a day. Much better for a hot cooked custom breakfast.

So many memories here of years of family memories. I hope the feedback is taken together with those that I am sure share the same sentiment,

Please revisit your changes team. I hope that guest satisfaction and service are important to your brand values.
