Skyline Melbourne — Attraction in Melbourne

Alright ferris wheel, certainly not the best I've experienced. Where it's situated doesn't give the best view, and there was nothing outstanding about the ride. Was actually quite squeaky and creaky. What made it worse was the staff. They were very unengaging for visitor facing staff. Further to this, the price we found advertised online on their website was vastly cheaper than what we found on the day (advertised as ticket box price, not online price); and even showing them proof of this, the staff danced around the situation, and would not honour the advertised price. Location was extremely muddy and slippery, being advertised as on a grassy parkland is far from the actual experience. And lastly, having advertised as having food and beverages available on location, they were sold out of many items at 1pm on a Sunday. Overall, extremely lack-luster experience. Would not recommend. My husband and I had a wonderful time on the Ferris wheel. Great staff with excellent customer service A+++. The view of Melbourne was spectacular day and night. We were celebrating pre birthday celebration for my birthday so went went on it during the day and night on the same day. Their service was lovely and I even got complimented on the perfume I was wearing from a young Indian gentleman that guided us into our seat. 20 bucks a ticket is ok I guess and they have nice views on South bank. Nothing you wouldn't see from many of the building around. They are advertising for 30 dollars at the minute a sips and snacks type deal it advertises prosecco and some nibbles. I thought that was ok as Prosecco is cheap and might enhance the experience. What they don't advertise you don't get a glass each. You have to share that glass.... Really 30 bucks and you have to both share the glass .....
