A hidden gem! Good value! Happy to return if the price is right.

Pros & Cons below 👇

PROS Room : · VERY spacious · clean · comfortable · nothing broken, everything is in good condition and not feel dated · has good lighting · has large TV screen · has a full size kitchen · reasonable sound proofing · has conjoining rooms (good for family) · free wifi

Bathroom : · clean · spacious enough · hot water is hot enough as expected · showerhead and water pressure good · adequate supply of towel · towels appear, feel and smell clean · nice quality amenities

Kitchen : · spacious · feels clean (except found 1 tiny death bug in cutlery draw) · equipment (e.g. electric cook top) feels sparkling clean, is in good and functional condition · Sunbeam electric kettle (not no frill brand)

Public area is also very clean. Front desk is spacious enough for 3-4 individual patrons to do check-in/out. Entrance is thoughtfully recessed for rainy days, and a security card reader to open automatic sliding glass door for after-hour security access. The lobby has nice decor. 2 lifts for patrons and adequate size for a few AND luggages. Spacious and well-lit corridor. Level access inside. Car park entrance (2.05m clearance) from the side (one-way) street, accessing from the street behind.

Staffs are attentive and greet with smile. Express check-out option available. Staff kindly offer calling taxi/cab for you when checking out. Happy to store (with a tag) luggages for patrons after checking out.

Only a short stroll from Southern Cross/SkyBus terminal. Tram station outside the hotel Main Entrance. Short stroll to Crown Casino/Melbourne Exhibition & Convention Centre. A convenient store next door. A short walk to CBD center with a major supermarket.

CONS: Not daily room service 😑 Milk supply/refill is not adequate/generous Poor quality tea/coffee Mobile phone reception is poor in the room No Ethernet port, only wifi access The step at Main entrance a bit high, some may have difficulties to lift/lower luggage. Check-in process requires filling in details despite booked online, and requires signature on an iPad (or...

Negative reviews aren’t my thing. However, a bloody fingerprint and absolutely awful cleaning throughout feel egregious enough to break my rule. Despite requesting room cleaning (at least vacuuming!) and specifically mentioning a prior guest’s bloody fingerprint, positioned very obviously on the bathroom doorframe, to the front desk—twice!—over a 5 night stay in early February, nothing was done. The staff we encountered were lovely, so I’m assuming this is more of an understaffing type issue. It was just… dirty. No vacuuming, so my husband’s allergies went crazy whenever we were in the room (the sheer amount of dust on table stands, by the bed, and on all skirting boards suggested some rare, pre-covid deposits). No cleaning of the filthy bath (you know that scum that builds up in a bathtub/shower if it hasn’t been scrubbed for a long, long time? Mm). The dishwasher top rack was broken and unusable, there was only one glass but three coffee cups (and similarly mismatched other crockery), and a room facing the back of the hotel meant constant noise from the large air conditioning inverters on a lower roof. Impossible to open the ranch-sliders without soothing jet engine vibes. (I mean, the balcony also looked extremely dirty anyway, so.) Would not stay again, nor recommend, which is a pity because I liked the decor and location. It could be good if the...

We checked into this apartment for 3 nights. The location was very good and convenient. The initial room that was given to us, its washing machine was not working and the staff kindly changed our rooms. The staff was very friendly. The room was big, clean, and comfortable, except for some bad points. The air conditioning/heater doesn't seem to work properly. The toilet WAS SO BAD. I felt like I was going to slip and die in the bathtub. As there is no shower area, the only place to take a shower is standing inside the bathtub. The space is extremely cramped and I don't think anyone bigger than an average Asian would fit. There are no handles to hold on and the bathtub is really slippery. You cannot turn around without fearing of falling to your death. The temperature of the water is inconsistent, it would suddenly burn you or turn extremely cold. I really HATE the shower so much that I dread showering daily. The location is good as it is near eateries and there is a tram stop just downstairs. There is also a convenience store available nearby. The downside is the noise from the train tracks was very loud until late at night even with the...
