Niddrie Central Shopping Centre — Local services in Melbourne

A place I visit at least once a day. Let’s look at the strengths:

1. Fish shop is excellent. The staff are very knowledgeable and help out by giving nice recommendations.
2. Bakery is just perfect. If you want quality bread, especially their sour dough breads are excellent.
3. Constant shopping centre attendants cleaning and organising trolleys. I never seen them slack off.

Weaknesses:

1. The ramp is too long to go down to the car park. I would recommend staircase and elevator to open the space for another place.
2. the car park below has disabled car parks that are not distant to the entrance. Remove the trolley area and replace the disabled car spaces instead.
3. Shopping Centre needs a furniture shop or Aldi like place. People go to DFO or Highpoint Shopping Centre to buy...

Handy small shopping centre, with Woolworths as its star attraction, some other more niche stores contained within the centre for your shopping needs.

Handy location in the heart of Niddrie, with the number 59 Tram that travels along Keilor Rd for easy public transport access. You can also get fuel from Woolworths Service Station.

The thing I like is that you can jump straight off the tram and the shopping centre main entrance is only 20 metres away. And the centre is spacious and not congested . the woolworths is huge and not congested , Jayson Atkins Pharmacy is top notch and not cramped together like Chemist Warehouse ........ Jason will take the time to personally help you. The butchery and delicatessen are also 5 star. There is plenty of room to get around in wheelchairs or walkers .....no big steps ....no...
