Juan the store manager certainly isn't a jerk and he takes all feedback on board and raises it with his staff which is certainly a positive for his staff as it crates a good well like environment for the staff and a enjoyable working space for those staff.
I have been to this store more than once and on every occasion the service has been nothing but outstanding if you check some of my other reviews I can be pretty harsh as a reviewer and that's a simple fact.
Heather in Portable Audio has excellent product knowledge and is friendly and always willing to help you out with what ever you may need from that department when you need it!
George in HIFI has the willingness to assist with customers with top notch knowledge and is always willing to assist on prices as well his friendly attitude and product knowledge is awesome!
Marvin is the computer wizz always friendly and willing to assist and has some awesome product knowledge that department and was more than happy to assist me.
Steph in Games is wicked and knows her games and accessories for these consoles she is awesome.

Read moreDo NOT come to this store if you want anything resembling customer service. After waiting and looking for help by my chosen product, I went to the checkout. After one of the 3 staff members behind the counter served another customer, the staff member just walked away. Nobody acknowledged my existence at all, and when I asked this fellow if anyone was going to serve me, he threw his hands in the air and said he isn't customer service but from the store room. I said he could have at least acknowledged me or asked another staff member to help me, to which he said they're all busy (3 customers in store and at least 6 staff). So if you find yourself in here looking for help and you see a fellow bearded and dressed like an extra from a Lord Of The Rings movies, DO NOT ask them for help; it is apparently beyond them to even get someone else to help you. Severe lack of discipline. Surprising as they work on commission. Never again.
UPDATE: Go to the JB in Northland. Within 2 mins of standing at the monitors someone approached me; funny as it was the "store guy" also. This chap however was helpful. He confirmed some details for me (even though he's not a salesperson), and then handed me over to someone to finalise the sale. 2 stores in very close proximity, 2 very different customer...
Read moreBought TV from jb hifi in different location but had to collect it in person from Preston store and staff was extremely unhelpful and not cooperative, they said “it has been a long day”. When they prepared the tv they “forgot” to include all the parts with it, it took few more days to get the delivery of missing parts organised which was not delivered as agreed and had to reorganise it again. However we are still missing some parts and store cannot locate them. When turning the OLED tv on we found out the burn marks on the screen. We wrote an email to the tv section coordinator whom we spoke to over the phone and he explained that the rep for that tv brand has been contacted and they are waiting for the response. One month later and no response. We went to the store were we purchased the TV from originally and “miracle” happened - the store manager in Camberwell store was extremely helpful and pleasure to deal with and organised the technician to come out to our place - it took only 1 day /considering it is Holiday season/, the only thing we can say Preston staff - rude through the roof of that store, unhelpful and they are very unhappy to work there it seems.
