Previously a stall holder.

Your products are NOT covered in the event of a robbery/theft as I found out 15th May 2023, overnight break in - my silver jewellery was stolen from a locked cabinet. Market Fair tell you if you have market stall insurance, it covers you - it does NOT.

Market stall insurance is liability insurance at a market and does not cover theft.

Your products are NOT covered under their insurance (no responsibility) and will not give you their insurer details even when asked - shady.

Understand this BEFORE handing over your products for sale in this business.

It is a fantastic set up for makers and hobbyists but as a stallholder/seller you need to know the worst case scenario - your products are NOT covered in the event of theft/fire/loss/damage or anything else. The risk is 100% yours to bear.

I would...

I spent a good one and half to two hours wondering my way around Market Fair today. This was my first visit to this wonderful set up of various independent local sellers.

If you're looking for a unique different present you should find something here! It's like an op shop come makers market.

A wide variety of clothes, books, candles, jewellery, antiques, furniture, indoor plants, dried flowers, pots for plants, the list goes on! Check out my photos and you'll get an idea of what to expect. Some items were well priced, some were quite pricey.

I don't live local so it's not a store I would frequent often. It would be if I was looking for something particular I would travel or if I was near by and had the to kill then I'd go back for sure! Just seeing all the quirky...

Dont order online. I ordered 26th of december, I still dont have my order and I also dont have the money back. Apparently there were 2 attemps of sending, but auspost messed it up. There was no unit number on the adress (usually this is not an issue, the postie just delivers it in the lobby) I also did not get a notification that I could pick it up at a post office. Also no communication from market fair. When I called myself 2 months later, they told me that there have been 2 attemps and wanted me to pay for extra postage to have it send again. I did not want that, just wanted my money back. They could not give me back the postage money, just the money of the item. But I still don't have that...

This was such a fantastic find, I absolutely love all thrift shops & my mother thought to take me here & oh my god is it insanely big with so many vintage finds! I absolutely love anything vintage especially collecting tins & they have the cutest stuff definitely recommend coming here if you love thrifting especially if you’re a teenager there’s so much stuff to find you could almost get lost in it all, can be quite expensive though sadly couldn’t buy much but at least I can add a cute vintage tin to my collection, definitely know I’m coming back here!🪞👜👒 Recently came back & bought the vintage tall wooden oval mirror definitely worth it, good price to.🤭❤️

Looking to wow a friend with a quirky gift? Want to spruce up your place with a one-of-a-kind artwork? Add a fancy incense vibe to your home? Or rock a cool vintage outfit? The Market Fair is where it’s at! The artisans’ work dazzles with its variety and impeccable craftsmanship. Stalls are stylishly designed and kept pristine. You’re guaranteed to buy something—whether a major purchase or a delightful, budget-friendly amigurumi keychain. To top it off, the kind vendors will carefully package your special finds.
