The space has problems n its design. If you sit further back (anything from half way) you feel disconnected from the experience (rather like in the - much larger - Regent theatre). Somehow the interior of the auditorium just doesn't work as a theatre space. It would be fine for a movie screen, but it is inflexible, only allowing for proscenium staging and soul-less in feel. The foyer is too small and becomes overcrowded at busy times. The whole thing feels like it was designed by a committee on a shoestring budget.
