At first glance this hostel looks great - until you stay in it. They allow uber drivers to live in the hostels who take up half the rooms space with their delivery bags, clothes ect.

The kitchen is awful, not enough space for half the people they have staying yet alone everyone. Roughly half of the grills do not work, and when one does light up half way through cooking it will cut out & not turn back on.

On the topic of food, they open a breakfast section inside the lounge area with no signage to disclose prices and no disclosure that it costs anything. Turns out, $8.50 for a bowl of cereal. Insane?

The bathrooms are not thoroughly cleaned throughout the day aswell as the toilets being in a state. Skid marks, toilet paper & piss all over the toilets. Showers often have discarded toiletries left in them, there was a disposable shaving blade in the shower for over 24 hours.

Also... woke up to a huge group of school children screaming and shouting in the lounge area? They let school parties inside a hostel... seems (to me atleast) that they're all about making money in anyway they can, rather than prioritising the comfortability of their guests. Will never return, hotels are cheaper if you're travelling in a pair.

Edit: The staff that we encountered on the front desk were lovely & very knowledgeable.
