We haven’t had good Indian food for a very long time in Melbourne and I can say three brothers Indian restaurant is definitely a must try I love that they have their own type of butter chicken. They know their audience very very well and it shows because they have their own type of butter chicken, which is a little bit on the spicier side, but they also have the regular butter chicken that you can order I would definitely recommend ordering their butter chicken. It was so good so delicious. It was definitely on the spicy side and I can take a fair bit of spicy. We got some naan and rice to go with that as well. We regret not getting more naan because it was so delicious and it just mopped up the sauce so well in the curry. I think they could’ve been a bit more generous with the chicken pieces, but it also wasn’t very expensive so I can understand in this economy. I also recommend this prawn starter. I’m not sure what it was called, but it was honestly so so good the flavor it was amazing. The spices were just so delicious even though it was a crust around the prawn, that was probably where most the flavor was, I feel like if they could make it in the way that the crust doesn’t really fall off the prawn as soon as you eat it it be really, really good. We honestly were fighting each other for this one because it was that good. Our waitress, I believe she was the owner. She was so kind. She was so hospitable. She was very genuine when she came to our table and recommended food. She knew the menu like the back of her hand and she was very down-to-earth and authentic when she was recommending food items to us and she didn’t try to sell anything on her menu , she did say I love good food, but I also don’t like waste so A+ for being such a gem

Before I even comment on the food, I feel it is necessary to applaud the brilliant management of the restaurant by 1 woman alone - Chandni. She is truly a Rockstar. We were in Melbourne on our holiday and Since it was 1st day working after long Christmas weekend break, we weren’t sure if the restaurant was open, hence I called in to check. Right from my phone call to accommodating us in the queue and giving priority to our kids (it was already 8:30pm) to arranging our tables, serving food to finalizing our payment…. All managed by Chandni - A perfect Manager who can manage things from start to finish! Food was delicious. A must try would be Mango Lassi, Butter chicken, Chicken Biryani, Mango Kulfi. The Rotis/ Naan breads were very soft making it all the more enjoyable to eat with curry. I would like to specifically point out that the Mango Lassi is very authentic and does not feel like a sugar syrup drink like how most restaurants have. The lassi does taste “like a Lassi”. My kids slurped on it till the very last drop… I guess that explains the quality and taste. It does have an outdoor seating so being a Sydney-sider would definitely recommend wearing jackets to complement Melbourne weather. Definitely a must try.

Normally I do not find the patience and time to write reviews over Google. But this occasion has compelled me! So here’s my experience at this place vs all the raving reviews around. Dined in on a Saturday evening as a single table occupant. The restaurant only offers outdoor seating and it was full. To note: there was no waiting. I ordered an appetizer (Chk Malai Tikka), a main course (Tadkewali Dal) and a Chili Paratha. I was told that the order would take 25 mins. This was the standard narrative, to which I said that I am ok to wait but I need my food to arrive together. 30 mins later, only the appetizer arrived. When I asked for the remaining food, I was told that they wanted to get “something” on the table and rest of the food would take another 20 mins. I reminded the server of the agreement made. Also reminded that I intended to eat the Paratha with the Chk appetizer. I did not touch the food. Server came back saying it would take another 5 mins. In the chilly outdoor weather (no heaters provided), the appetizer went cold. No sign of apologies. 2 servers managing and running around like headless chicken, no guests waiting though. After the food arrived, I noticed that no pickles/onions were offered (unlike other tables) The cold appetizer had unequal pieces of chicken. The larger pieces were fully bland inside, had a pinkish tinge and smelled raw/rotten. The dal was also bland with no sign of tadka The Chilli paratha had no chilies- only coriander. So the miserable customer service was topped by rotten, bland and below average food. There was no offer to ask the customer if they wanted any dessert. Just basic lack of warmth and hospitality. When I went down to bill my table, I was asked by the Indian lady in a heavy Punjabi-Brit “fake” accent- “everything alright?”- well I didn’t answer as she just wanted me to pay and go anyway… I will not recommend this restaurant to any Indian guests who would be expecting authenticity in service as well as flavours. This place is blacklisted for me.

Wonderful Birthday Experience with a Thoughtful Touch! I recently celebrated my birthday at 3 Brothersss Indian restaurant, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. The ambiance was nice ,The menu had a fantastic variety of dishes, and everything we ordered was absolutely delicious, and specially the garlic naan and we asked them to make our food extra spicy and it totally met our expectations… What made this evening even more memorable was the birthday gift from the restaurant—a beautiful pen which was also a phone stand and a touch screen pen and a birthday card . This thoughtful gesture truly touched our hearts. It showed that they genuinely care about their customers The service was impeccable throughout the evening. The staff was attentive, polite, and made sure we had everything we needed. It's rare to find such excellent Indian food these days I can’t thank 3 brothersss Indian restaurant enough for making my birthday special with their delicious food, great atmosphere and a thoughtful gift. I highly recommend 3 brothersss Indian restaurant , we will definitely coming back

We were recommended this place by a friend who lives in Melbourne, and boy, what a restaurant! When you reach there, it doesn't look that tempting, as it's a roadside restaurant. However, once you settle down, there is a heater on top to help you in the cold weather. Then comes the restaurant owners, who make the best recommendations based on your preferences. The owner couple (forgot their names) were very humble and excellent hosts. I was having a bad throat, and usually, no one does this, but they even helped us with some medicines to make things better for me. Their attentiveness and genuine care added a personal touch to our dining experience. The food was absolutely delicious and authentic. Each dish was flavorful and prepared with the perfect blend of spices. It’s evident that they put a lot of love and effort into their cooking. The portion sizes were generous, and the prices were quite reasonable for the quality and quantity of food served. Overall, 3 Brothers is a must-visit place for Indian food cravers. The combination of great food, warm hospitality, and their willingness to go the extra mile makes this restaurant stand out. Highly recommended!

Absolutely fantastic spot for Indian cuisine. Their dal, butter chicken, and lamb korma are beyond phenomenal. The breads (my favourites being their garlic naan and Kashmiri naan) are fresh, satisfying, and perfect for dipping in the aromatic gravies and sauces. Their spicy cauliflower is an amazing appetiser and so akin to a sweet and spicy chicken dish I've had at other restaurants that I am still surprised it is not only cauliflower but honestly surpasses chicken. I have had their samosas in the past (some of the best you can get in all Melbourne) and really want to try their onion bhaji in the future. All around, fantastic dishes and side dishes. My friends also said their cocktails were great - so give them a shot too! I have been here before and will go again. On top of food that excels similar, more expensive and less good options, their service is top notch and truly beyond anywhere else. They made my birthday very special which was surprising and very kind. I don't normally do a lot for my birthday, but the excellent server was kind, funny, and made the night truly wonderful for myself, my partner, and my friends. Definitely recommend.
