Read moreNormally I do not find the patience and time to write reviews over Google. But this occasion has compelled me! So here’s my experience at this place vs all the raving reviews around. Dined in on a Saturday evening as a single table occupant. The restaurant only offers outdoor seating and it was full. To note: there was no waiting. I ordered an appetizer (Chk Malai Tikka), a main course (Tadkewali Dal) and a Chili Paratha. I was told that the order would take 25 mins. This was the standard narrative, to which I said that I am ok to wait but I need my food to arrive together. 30 mins later, only the appetizer arrived. When I asked for the remaining food, I was told that they wanted to get “something” on the table and rest of the food would take another 20 mins. I reminded the server of the agreement made. Also reminded that I intended to eat the Paratha with the Chk appetizer. I did not touch the food. Server came back saying it would take another 5 mins. In the chilly outdoor weather (no heaters provided), the appetizer went cold. No sign of apologies. 2 servers managing and running around like headless chicken, no guests waiting though. After the food arrived, I noticed that no pickles/onions were offered (unlike other tables) The cold appetizer had unequal pieces of chicken. The larger pieces were fully bland inside, had a pinkish tinge and smelled raw/rotten. The dal was also bland with no sign of tadka The Chilli paratha had no chilies- only coriander. So the miserable customer service was topped by rotten, bland and below average food. There was no offer to ask the customer if they wanted any dessert. Just basic lack of warmth and hospitality. When I went down to bill my table, I was asked by the Indian lady in a heavy Punjabi-Brit “fake” accent- “everything alright?”- well I didn’t answer as she just wanted me to pay and go anyway… I will not recommend this restaurant to any Indian guests who would be expecting authenticity in service as well as flavours. This place is...
Read moreI am person who always wants to try out new places if we are eating out and I have saved this place to my list for quite sometime as it took me nearly 50 mins to be there so I thought to try it ….on my sons bday and I am so glad I choose this day ! Best decision ever !
The food? So Authentic! Service - unmatchable Staff - outstanding! Care can be tasted in every bite !
There’s a freshness to every dish that really sets it apart. Due to some religious reasons we didn’t tried any meat items but it is now a must try next time always place for us so I know - next time will do ! Most places do give good food but there must be a WOW factor that makes that place outstanding….and I am sure you can’t go wrong with this place …….you get that distinct aroma of spices being sautéed fresh in oil. It’s one of those subtle things, but if you’ve had your share of curries, you’ll know what I mean. This place clearly cooks the dishes fresh before sending them out.
STARTERS - so perfectly cooked just right enough ! CURRIES- so flavourful; just so perfect to our taste . NAAN —— Freshly baked, fragrant, with a perfectly crisp bottom. Just right. The basmati rice is also worth mentioning — aromatic and cooked just right.
Service was exceptionally amazing! All the staff was really loving to work there that’s what I felt ! Icing of the cake for me was the special touch as you can see in the picture ! Like really ! I can’t thank you enough for it !
What really stands out is the respect they show through the food and what the customers are bringing itself. It’s rare to find a restaurant that still cooks this way — not just for efficiency or profit, but with actual care.
If I had to nitpick, maybe they could consider getting extra heater for winter. But honestly, that’s...
