Zoos Victoria Head Office

We visited Melbourne Zoo on a weekday, and it was a fantastic experience. The zoo was not too crowded, allowing us to take our time and enjoy each exhibit without feeling rushed. The layout is well thought out, making it easy to navigate and see a wide variety of animals up close.

The enclosures are beautifully designed to mimic the natural habitats of the animals, which made the experience even more immersive. Highlights included the butterfly house, where we were surrounded by vibrant butterflies, and the Trail of the Elephants, which offers a serene walk through lush greenery.

The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, always ready to answer any questions. We appreciated the conservation efforts highlighted throughout the zoo, reminding us of the importance of protecting these incredible species.

Overall, Melbourne Zoo provided a wonderful, educational day out. We highly recommend visiting, especially on a weekday when you can fully appreciate the tranquil and well-maintained environment.
