I have been to this place twice and would have potentially a daily customer for these guys. The bagels are decent but not extraordinary. Same with the coffee. However, we just went to crab some food at 11.30am and were told that the kitchen is closed whilst there were multiple customers still wanting food. Not only is this disappointing but the way it was delivered with a sneaky smile and boat load of bad attitude. When I asked why the dumbest answer ever was, it’s expensive.
I have ran multiple successful hospitality businesses in my time. And in 15 years have I never turned down a customer not for food or coffee unless we were literally out. This is a customer service business, service your customers. If you say you are only open until 12pm (which in itself is laughable, what you worked 4-5 hours today?), but don’t close the kitchen only because you couldn’t get bothered. And my reply to the gentleman at the check out, if you think it’s expensive, you have clearly no idea what you are doing. What’s expensive is, alienating your local customers (especially outside of tourist season), providing inconsistent opening hours, and treating your customers this way. It’s a real shame because this location has so much potential managed correctly. If you prioritise your Sunday afternoon beer and afternoon surf over your customers, you’ll be out of...

Sunday Coffee, described as coastal vibes and a chilled atmosphere they have a range of good bagels and coffee with their menu catering to all coffee enthusiasts. A welcoming atmosphere and a coffee shop loved by the community and that has a female led/owned cafe.
Ben and Abby are passionate coffee enthusiasts and are knowledgeable about all things coffee
However Ben has been very unwelcoming and is always extremely rude when I have interacted with him outside of seeing him at Sunday Coffee. This has been twice now. This behavior very much impacts how the cafe can be viewed and has given me extreme anxiety when I see him.
I truly believe this behavior should be rectified immediately. That type of behavior is utterly disgusting and unnecessary and makes me extremely uncomfortable. Especially since he was so nice the first time I interacted with the cafe.
It's in a book that Sunday Coffee owns it says be the energy you want to attract so, Ben I suggest reading that book and learning from it, because that was definitely not you being the energy you want to attract,
I always suggest Sunday coffee to new customers wanting to try a new cafe, Thank you Sunday continuing to provide Coffee for providing amazing coffee...

Not one to leave bad reviews, but a mistake was made during my order, al juniors were working to save money (which is fine and they were really nice and working hard) but a mistake was made as they often do and when we approached Ben he was honestly one of the rudest people we’ve encountered in Australia and certainly in hospitality.
After telling me in an extremely aggressive and condescending manner what I ordered and how I was wrong my partner went up to order a new coffee and he shouted at her “come to me if you want to speak to someone” leaving her upset and simply saying to him I want to order a new coffee (the one we originally ordered)
Even if the mistake wasn’t on them his attitude towards customers is the poorest I’ve seen in and again many reviews indicate he does this often, I’m assuming he’s the owner as no one else would speak to customers like this, but your business would be a lot better with him not dealing with customers or maybe getting some training in it.
Customers lost, such a shame and all the young workers are...
