The Coffee Club Café - Kawana Waters — Restaurant in Sunshine Coast Regional

Ordered dine in late breakfast at 11:05am. Place seemed very busy. Sat down and coffees came in 10-15 minutes. We thought food would also take some time as we saw lots of delivery orders being made as well. After 40 minutes from ordering, and nobody coming to ask us if we needed anything, we went to the counter to ask why it seemed to be taking so long because we had somewhere else to be soon. We were told that our food order was never given to the kitchen. I asked for a refund for the food, and asked for the $10 of coffee to at least be refunded also as a minimum compensation for the mistake and making us wait 40 minutes with no food. The counter staff told us that we drank the coffee so we had to pay for it. I again said that I thought it was fair to be given some form of compensation for the mistake they made, as we did have at least 30 minutes of our time wasted and free coffee would be the least gesture they could provide. Again the staff member said ‘you drank the coffee’, and her manager would never let her do a full refund. So we left with only food refunded, no apology for making a mistake and not having our order given to the kitchen, and no attempt to compensate us in anyway for their mistake. I would not assign a one-star rating solely based on the conduct of a single staff member, who demonstrated rudeness and a lack of concern. I placed an order for an iced coffee with oat milk, as dairy products cause me significant health issues that can persist for days. At the counter, a different staff member took my order and correctly repeated it back to me, confirming the use of oat milk. However, while waiting for my coffee, I observed it being prepared with regular milk. Upon inquiring if the beverage was intended for me, I received a rude response, with the staff member questioning why I asked and subsequently claiming she could not recall using regular milk. She then discarded the drink and proceeded to make comments about me to another staff member. When I finally received the correct coffee, I wanted to verify its accuracy, but the staff member's response and demeanor were unacceptable. If I had not witnessed the preparation of the initial drink, she would not have been aware of the mistake and would have served it to me regardless, demonstrating a concerning disregard for customers' dietary requirements and...

My partner and I went to Coffee Club Kuwana I order .make your own Omelet , Tomatoes/ spinach / smoke salmon / green tea / I specifically told the lady NO BACON ..then I make another order for my partner/ 2 scrambler eggs, soar bread as described in the menu , Again I specifically told No BACON , small bowl of chips/flat white coffee , Guess what We wait till 38 minutes then there’s a 2 staffs walking around carrying plates of food which my partner asked is that ours , the girl Rudely responds NO ..so we still watching this 2 staffs walking around for 45 minutes then the cashier woman come to our table , carrying the food and try to leave it to our table , and tell us This is your order , so I decline, by saying , your not expecting us to eat that for 45 minutes , after it’s been around people’s breathing on it , the plate had a lot of Bacon , which I precisely I told , No Bacon at all ..Very disappointed considering Saturday Morning expecting , nice breakfast after the weeks works .. busy weeks ..only nice to think is nice breakfast without...
