Jamaica Blue Kawana Waters Shoppingworld — Restaurant in Sunshine Coast Regional

Not sure whether it was because; it was really busy in the cafe on New Years Eve morning or whether staff are in need a holiday ......... whatever !! yesterdays visit to our once upon a time fav cafe at Kawana Waters was a total disaster. What morons bring out the main meals along with the dessert order of Raspberry Tart complete with a scoop of ice-cream at the same time even though the dessert order was meant as a T/A minus the ice-cream. The order was also missing a key component (egg) which was an extra but also charged for. A fork was dropped on the floor when the waitress placed the meal down and a clean replacement fork was requested which wasn't part of the serving system and was never replaced. At no time was any apology given to us as a result of their unprofessional behaviour and poor attitude. All in all we were totally disappointed with the visit, the food portion size has also diminished to almost half the original portion size from when we started using the restaurant several years ago. We have been regular loyal customers for several years however we will have to think very seriously about continuing using them...

The people who run Franchise store at Kawana Waters Shoppingworld are absolutely rude. The Indian man that served me was the rudest service I have ever experienced.

I wanted to order corn fritter with an additional poached egg, I understand it was from the KIDS menu however, there were no corn fritters on the ADULT menu and I didn’t want a huge meal. After I placed my order the rude man asked me where I was sitting, looked over and noticed that there wasn’t a child at the table and then proceeded to tell me that I could not order that because it was on the kids menu. I then just said to the man, oh well I won’t be spending any money here because I actually don’t want a massive meal and he looked at me and said to me in a rude voice multiple times… ‘I don’t care!’.

Not once did he offer an alternative and/or apologised for it being company policy which anyone with good customer service would have done.

I will never return to any Jamaica blue cafe again and will be telling all my family and friends and on all my social media platforms not to...

I am sitting in your Kawana store very disappointed. I ordered 3 savoury french toast with the specific instructions "I do not want it dipped, I want it soaked. I do not want bread, I want soggy. If it is not how I want it, I will send them back. I want all 3 the same". The lady who took my order said "yes ma'am, that's the way we do it". Knowing my previous disappointment, I am certain she saw my eyeroll. Anyway, she went and discussed in detail with the cook. Needless to say, I am sitting here with no meal after sending back DIPPED BREAD!!!!
