We thought we would give it a try as it was highly rated however very disappointing experience and I’m very amazed they are rated nearly 4 stars. Sushi portions are ridiculously small especially when charged $4.60 per plate and when I say small don’t even get started on the nigiri’s, very poor quality sushi, rice falls apart and the food overall isn’t very tasty. The train had barely anything on it and very poor customer service, staff were so vague and unhelpful. For example asked how we may order a drink as there’s no signage or any drinks on the menu I asked the staff she basically said get up and get it yourself.. Absolutely Not worth visiting here, probably the worst sushi train I have ever been to.

We love Sushi and visit most Sushi restaurants in the different towns that we visit. The staff were friendly, the place was clean and was able to get a seat straight away. There was a huge variety to choose from, but only 3 pieces to a plate, a little annoying if you are sharing. We had 6 plates and the cost was about $30.00. If you like my reviews please follow us around Australia 🇦🇺.

Food is superb, the most organized and tidy sushi train I have ever seen, clean and you facilities and very nice looking, constantly cleaning and tidying and even refreshing the lids on the plates if they have a little bit of moisture on the inside of them… Outstanding quality

Unpleasant Experience at Sushi Nikko - 1 Star

My recent visit to Sushi Nikko was, unfortunately, a complete disappointment. I can't help but leave this 1-star review to share the awkward and uncomfortable experience my friend and I had.

From the moment we walked in, the owners' constant and unsettling stares made us feel like we were intruders rather than customers. The atmosphere was not welcoming, and the overall ambiance felt stale and uncomfortable.

To add to our disappointment, the food did not meet our expectations at all. My friend and I ordered a beef meal, but the taste was nothing like what we expected. It felt as if we were served slightly off sausages, which was far from pleasant.

The rolls we ordered were equally disappointing. They were cold and tasted far from fresh, leaving us with a feeling of overpaying for a subpar dining experience. When you go out to a sushi restaurant, you expect the food to be fresh and the service to be enjoyable. Unfortunately, Sushi Nikko fell far short of these expectations.

I cannot recommend attending this restaurant, especially when there are so many better sushi and dining options available in the area. Save yourself the discomfort and the disappointment, and opt for a more enjoyable dining...

The worst sushi and customer service I have ever experienced. I ordered 2 ships that were on the menu but not on the conveyor belt. When they arrived, supposedly freshly made, I was shocked. The seaweed was soft and limp, the rice had started to break down and wash mush, the seafood had started to turn and had a pungent taste and smell. The front of house manager came past and I asked him to take the second plate away, which he did. 5 minutes later he returned the plate, and informed me that I had ordered it so it was mine. I explained that it was inedible, and that I hadn't touched the second plate. He told me that I should eat it and pay for it. I said no way. In not eating that. He continued saying I had to pay for it. I suggested how about I be the customer and you be the concerned member of staff, who is worried that his customer could get such terrible food. We ended up yelling at each other, I couldn't believe that a customer could be treated so badly. It does explain why the Chinese next door was full, and Sushi Nikko was empty. The food left a greasy film all over the inside of my mouth that took a couple of days to get rid of. My stomach...

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. The food was not good, we ate their hot bowls and it tasted microwaved. The lady In the kitchen was staring at us the entire time we ate giving us very bad looks even standing over us and seeing how much we are and when we asked how much extra something was they couldn't give us a number they quoted a few extra dollars... For vegetables that is meant to be included in the meal and WAS NOT. I had one slice of zucchini and a lot of onion, nothing like advertised. The place is very unprofessional and made us feel very uncomfortable. The food on the train has been sitting for hours on end and is not okay to serve. Food should be freshest not reheated or standing for long amounts of time. It's no surprise the store was absolutely empty with...
