Smithfield Shopping Centre — Attraction in Smithfield

My favourite place (close to home) to shop for practically anything. Has renovations (for the new cinema & restaurant complex) happening outside at present so parking can be at a premium on the busier days. Both Woolworths and Coles supermarkets. Lots of speciality shops, eateries, coffee bars, Kmart and Best for Less, post office, banks etc., you name it Smithfield Shopping Complex has it. Just a hop, step and a jump from the popular Smithfield Tavern plus lots more. Why go anywhere else? UPDATE:- November 2017..most new shops and eateries are now completed and open for business. We now have a taste of everything including Mexican, Korean, Asian, American, Australian and much more. The super duper new Vmax movie complex is also well and truly up and running. Once you have shopped till you drop and eaten yourself silly you can hit the awesome new Gymnasium, Five Star Fitness which is open 24/7 and has all the equipment you could possibly need. Smithfield Shopping Centre is my local shopping centre. Yes I get a lot from Kuranda IGA, but id be lost without Smithfield Shopping Centre. Got my barber in there, Christian at Smithfield Barbers, got Woolies and Coles and half day Quarter Marathon opportunity in between. Nice Food Court in 2 zones, the inside one with a Outside area that's wonderful and cool, the Food places around the Woolies entrance have indoor/outdoor dining. There a super Cool Butcher and my favourite shop the WholeLife HealthFoods just between the two main food areas of the Centre. There is of course wonderful Sushi, a Cafe and all sorts down the Coles end. Very Cool Shopping Centre! Theres 4 or more great hairdresser and barber opportunities, there's Fashion plentiful through the middle CarriageWay that makes up the spaceship that is Smithfield Shopping...

Black Aboriginals pushing people around physically and no one doing anything not even security. SECURITY IS VERY SLOW. Overall, they're pretty bad at preventing shoplifting (they never prevent theft)

THANK LORD THERES SOMETIMES POLICE AT SMITHFIELD SHOPPING CENTRE. I Saw A drunk enter the shops and walked all the way to the food courts Un-apprehended, but thankfully stopped by the police

The community is Just bad and many people including teens rip bongs and vape at the local dog park.
