The diversity of the landscape at this spot is quite amazing. A plot of land that was once separated by water but now accessible by walking. The different type of rock surrounding it is amazing too. As you come up to it the sand changes too from soft silicon type sand to crushed shell sand. This island is perched on a corner where on one side you have waves and the other is flat which is extremely popular with kite surfers and stand up paddle boarders. It gets super busy down here, the car park is nowhere near big enough. Plenty of picnic and bbq areas and nice spots to swim on both sides. This spot is on blibli side looking back at cotton tree / maroochydore across the water. Also the airport is close so the odd plane comes thru here quite low which is cool :)

A beautiful place to take your dog off leash after a walk down the beach. You can ascend the rock island in various places when the tide is out and there's a small tree-shaded area at the top. Dogs can come up too although it can be steep in places. Lovely views of the water and river to watch the jet skis and boats.

Nice little island on a dog friendly beach. Easy to access when it's low tide. Some great views from the island (interesting rock formation and colours, and the Maroochydore Beach). About 1 km of walking distance from the carpark along the beach. It's worth visiting if you are nearby.
