Local Flow Eatery — Restaurant in Sunshine Coast Regional

We were visiting t'he Sunny Coast from the Gold coast & wanted somewhere close to Cotton Tree Holiday Park to meet up with some friends who live up there. A couple of options were tossed around & we settled on this little gem.

From booking on line to arriving for a 1pm arrival for lunch, the communication was exemplary.

AND then we were seated and although we had scoped the menu before getting there (& were salivating), the specials board threw a spanner in the works.

Our waitress was extremely knowledgable on her products. We chose to follow the Tapas share plate options, including the 2 specials we shared 4 dishes.

They had a wine special as well but unfortunately only had 2 glasses left of that (which we enjoyed).

After we devoured the 4 share plates & we were still wanting to explore the menu further. When we went to order further dishes (at 2:15pm), we were told that she would have to check with the kitchen as it usually closes at 2pm!

Thankfully the chef accommodated us & we ordered a further 3 tapas plates.

I have to say that the food, wine & service was exemplary, but I did mark my rating down due to the kitchen "closing" so early for a Sunday lunch. In saying that, I/we will certainly go to Local Flow eatery next time we...

Went to Local Flow Eatery today with a friend and I had the best food and drinks ever - the flavours were amazing and exploded in my mouth - we shared a roast pumpkin salad, barbecued prawns and crab and whitebait fritters plus Polenta gnocchi - the presentation was amazing, plus I ended up on one of their desserts - wow amazing - I would say one of the best desserts I have had for ages on the sunshine coast, again the presentation was out of this world and it tasted so, so good and the Sangria drinks are the best on the coast. - I am a big foodie, so I enjoy great food and appreciate the work that goes into their dishes - thanks again for such a wonderful explosion...

Great for lunch or dinner - always some delicious new items being introduced to keep Nic and Louise’s place a first class spot for great Mediterranean cuisine. My favs are the range of seafood - fresh, funky and so flavoursome - which can just take your breath away. Small wine, beer and spirits/cocktail list, but still plenty of local, domestic and international drops to be enjoyed. So, if you are feeling in a bit of a funk, just get on down to Local Flow and transport yourself to some place like Sienna, Burgos or Mykinos and enjoy the wonderful fare, atmosphere, great service - and most of all the sea breeze and blue skies in this little corner of...
