My review is during WINTER. Beautiful scenery and a very large beach. Some shops by the main road, but not a lot. As a result not very busy as compared to other beaches. There's a surf club with a lot of surfers. As for swimmers and sunbathers there're not a lot by the beach. But still worth having a visit. However, it is the reverse for summertime. After open air pool heading north is nice kids playground then b1 bus stop.
What I cannot figure out is where collaroy Beach stops and where narrabeen beach starts.
Either way, the combined length of beach will take u up to an hour to walk end to end. I love walking here to clear my thoughts in solitude as narrabeen end is often totally deserted due to massive waves...
