Friendly staff, efficient taking of orders and kitchen service. Table service staff also very good (although the (clearly) new boy) seemed to be a bit unsure of what it means to serve tables.
Only 4 stars for atmosphere because the life savers down below seem to find it necessary to constantly rev the engines of their boats/jet-skis in the morning (I guess that they're running fresh water through them, although should be done at the end of the day when they take them out of the salt water).
The food was very good and prices are also very reasonable, particularly considering the awesome beach-front location. Portion sizes were good and the variety on offer was also very acceptable. The coffee was also very good.

Read moreMy last review was 5 star - today not so good … ordering by QR codes proved a hassle. For a small cafe you wouldn’t think it would be hard to take an order. They have this odd thing where from 11/30-12noon everything goes off the menu and you can only get coffee and cake so we had to wait 15mins to order lunch when really we wanted breakfast … in the meantime I ordered coffees but the order didn’t go through for some reason so nothing arrived. The pulled pork burger had weird slightly unpleasant flavours and the salad seemed to be dressed simply with olive oil - no lemon/salt or vinegar and it just tasted like raw vegetables and had a pool of oil in the bottom.

Read moreThis place is way overrated. The charges are ridiculous. Not accessible to those in wheelchairs, you have to walk up stairs and there is no elevator. Orange juice - $10. Simple oj should not cost that much. Scrambled eggs - why is there a $1 extra charge for just scrambled eggs. Fried or poached is the regular menu price, but if you want scrambled, be prepared to pay an extra $1. Bacon should not be $5 extra. There ae 2 options, crispy or non crispy, but other places will only charge $3-4. Paid $60 for breakfast for 2. Nowhere on the menu or boards as you walk in does it state that there is a 15% public holiday surcharge. There is a 10% Sunday surcharge but that's it. The view is fine, not fantastic but it...
