One of the easiest ways to see a waterfall in Katoomba is the drive and park in Katoomba Falls Reserve car park. (Or take the 50 min walk from Echo Point 3 Sisters). Follow the signs to Katoomba Cascades, walk down a set of steps and voile....the beauty of these falls will warm your heart. There's even a bench to sit and take in the atmosphere. You'll want to take photos here, so make sure you have your mobile or SLR camera on hand.
From there you can take the board walk to a lookout with the most spectacular view of the Jamison Valley and you'll see the Cable Car move across the sky to Scenic World. If you want to continue into the valley to the Katoomba Falls, I highly recommend you wear good walking shoes for this part of your adventure. Take the steps behind you and follow the signs down into the valley. It's the most beautiful scenery with Witches Leap Falls and moss covered trees, a low crossing over a gushing creek. It's just charming to explore.
The path will take you to the left and down to the Falls. Highly...

The 4-star review was purely because of the unbelievably long drive to the reserve, but I still strongly recommend you to visit if you have the...
Read moreWe had a fantastic time exploring the Night-lit Reserve in Katoomba! The well-maintained paths were perfect for a relaxing walk with our fur babies, Astria and Brocky. What makes this place truly special is that it can be enjoyed both during the day and at night, with the paths beautifully lit up after dark. We experienced it in daylight, but next time, we’re excited to see it illuminated at night for a whole new...
